Unpuzzle is a short and simple puzzle game I played recently on Kongregate and had a pretty decent time with it. The game focuses on taking apart tiles that are combined in a jigsaw style, hence the title of the game. Tiles can only be taken apart by pointing them off the screen, and they cannot be trapped by another piece, thus the way you remove these tiles is how the puzzle element comes into play. There are 50 levels included in the Kongregate version, of which took me just under 2 hours to 100%; there are apparently more levels available in a mobile version of the game in the app store as well.

After so many levels, the game will introduce a new gimmick that can appear on certain tiles. For example, one gimmick will lock a tile to only being able to move in one direction, so you need to completely free a path for it to remove it. Two of the most interesting gimmicks involving one tile that you can rotate, thus allowing you to free neighboring pieces, as well as a gimmick that makes a set of tiles mimic each other's movement, meaning you have to free them all at the same time.

A few issues also are present in the game, which in turn could affect the player's experience. First, there's really only one song to the game, which can be rather tiresome after going through a lot of levels already. Second, most of the later levels end up being a cluttered mess due to combining gimmicks and so much of the screen having them, the real puzzle then ends up just being paying attention to what unlocks every time you move off a tile. Rotator tiles while interesting are also a bit annoying since you need to completely rotate them again to convert them to a normal tile even if they are already in an unlocked rotation. Finally, I felt as if the game went too long a the start without actually becoming much of a puzzle, it does hit the mark eventually but the build-up should preferably be a lot less slow.

Overall though, I'd say the game is pretty decent if you're bored and need a relaxing puzzle game to play on your browser. It's completely free and simple to pick up, so it's probably worth checking it out at some point.

Jogado no Google Play Pass. Tem uma proposta bem interessante, mas ele começa a colocar um monte de mecânicas diferentes ao mesmo tempo, fazendo que com que elas fiquem não só longas demais, como não conseguindo se diferenciar entre si.
