Eu realmente acredito que a mídia digital pode ser uma ferramenta incrível para game designers levarem seus jogos de mesa para outro nível — não só como uma "segunda opção", mas como um meio para alcançar o que era (até então) impossível. Bençãos da Babilônia, entretanto, com suas decisões estranhas de design, suas mecânicas ultrapassadas e sua apresentação ruim, não pode ser usado como exemplo do bom uso dessa mídia. No seu melhor, ele parece um puzzle medíocre que é frustrante de jogar e difícil de recomendar, mesmo para fãs de Carcassonne, Catan ou jogos de estratégia.
