A really underwhelming experience. There was nothing about it that was particularly scary either?

But I was still interested in where the story was going anyways, and the main characters were able to lead the narrative fine

Then you actually get to the ending and the explanation is laughable. Honestly kind of ruined the entire game. I have no clue what it was going for or how it wanted you to feel.

Presentation wise it was ok. It had some ok moments. That's sort of the vibe with the entire game, just ok. The ending brings it down a lot.

Serious review: I admire its ambition but I don't think it reaches the heights its trying to, whether due to budget or some other reason. The theme of "dangerous secrets" is interesting but not quite polished. I super don't love how it treats (spoilers) Holly's crush on Grace, as if keeping it secret is a personal failing rather than, you know, fear of being outed in a small town. I don't know what I'd prefer but its something else.

Joke review: oh my GOD benjamin, how many quotes about secrets did you still from quotes.com to put into the credits of your video game.
