Jogo bosta, nem o "MELHOR MK" eu consigo gostar... dá nem vontade de escrever uma review e os krls do tanto que eu acho MK uma franquia chata, sem graça, genérica, sem personalidade, feia, marrom, mal feita e apelativa pro mercado...
Yeah man this game is just phenomenal. I do think that nostalgia has a role to play in this rating, taking this in mind that this game has a VERY limited amount of combos, but i still can't help but love it. Everything from the perfect gameplay speed, the X-Rays, the phenomenal art direction, everything about this is just what I want from a Mortal Kombat game. The fatalities are mostly very simple(sometimes just 3-move ones), but they're just so damn fun to look at. Even stuff like the over-the-top gore and blood effects that make the characters look absolutely fucked up during the fight, the cheesy dialogues, the ridiculous outfits of the characters(mainly the ladies), everything about this SCREAMS "bad taste", but that's literally what Mortal Kombat has always been(imo at least).
I love that this game proudly embraces its weirdness, compared to X and 11(haven't played 11 but I know the whole story) which I feel have been more about the special forces than they've been about the mystical world of this universe(aka boring as fuck)...... and I think 9 has the best story out of the three NRS games(X being the close second). It took the best things about its predecessors and added more to make what I(still) consider to be the best MK game ever made. Onto X now.

Fue el inicio una nueva era para mortal kombat y fue un juego genuinamente bueno y divertido. Muy recomendable.
I lost the count of how many times I finished this game, I just love the story and characters.
Único MK que joguei
Every bit as good as MK9 but with fantastic DLC and costumes already on the disc. The only good version of scarlet resides here as they ruined her IMO in 11. Fantastic game.

In addition to having one of the best stories in the franchise, the combat is the best and the most fun they've ever done (I loved the tag team😔❤)

To date, this is my favorite Mortal Kombat game. Not only did it take everything good about the previous MK games and jam it into one, but it took the series in a very well needed direction.
It's a NRS game
The story was boring to watch. If you are planning to fight with your friends, then it's a must. Good fatalities and gore.

- Skarlet is a pretty random addition, the first time ever being a real character. I really like her gimmick, it's unique, her design is way over-sexualized (but what isn't in MK9), and fatalities are average.
- My boy Rain, so happy to have him. His gameplay is fun as always, the design great as always, even fatalities are creative.
- I never was a huge Kenshi guy, but I understand how important and loved by people he is. Glad he made it in, just not my cup of tea.
- FREDDY FRICKING KRUGER, now this just puts a smile on my face. I love this dude, I love how NR studio love the original franchise, he is fun to play, look cool and was mindblowing as a crossover back in 2012.
- Can't talk about Kratos, since I've never experienced them. But I do believe he is awesome.
Overall, not a single bad DLC character, ton of skins, it's the perfect addition/edition of the original game. This is how you do DLCs

De todos os Mortal Kombat, esse é o único que eu não vejo e não tenho reclamações sobre. Um ótimo roster, ótimos personagens e o raio-x foi uma adição incrível pra franquia. O MK definitivo.

Me gusta bastante como adaptaron el seting de los personajes para este reboot y se recuperó mucho ese espíritu de carnicería y sangre de los viejos MK.
Los nuevos agregados me gustaron bastante, como el X-ray que es una delicia verlo en pantalla, las peleas por parejas que hace años que no aparecía y los modos clásicos.
Pasando a la historia está divertida, me sorprendió mucho lo bien que está y retoma los acontecimientos de armagedon.
En general uno de los mejores juegos de Mortal Kombat.

Essa review aqui vai ser fácil fácil. Mortal Kombat 9 é tudo que eu espero num jogo de luta. Temos um modo história muito divertido e envolvente usando acho que todo mundo no jogo e me fazendo gostar de todo mundo. Temos finais individuais e desbloqueáveis na Krípta para garantir o replay, modo de luta com Tag pra dar um pouco mais de dinamismo nos kombates e todos os personagens icônicos da infância pra jogar aqui de novo.
Os modelos 3D são bons e eu diria até bonitos dentro do possível, com exceção dos rostos das mulheres, mas aí é só manter elas de máscara ou focar no resto do modelo que está bonito.
As finalizações variadas (2x Fatalities, Babality e Stage Fatalities) garantem o charme de sempre.
Eu não sei nem do que falar mal aqui, esse jogo é bom demais.

I’m going to say this, this is the best Mortal Kombat game ever made, I know due to the direction of the story after this game isn’t good at all and maybe some arguments pertaining to the klassic arcade games or even Trilogy, Deception, Shaolin Monks & MKX may come to other people’s minds when thinking on what’s the best MK game and you wouldn’t be wrong, all of those games have their strengths that make them great games on their own but I still think MK9 still holds up on its own, from a well structured story to an entire Challenge Tower with 300 Towers plus more with the Vita version, solid gameplay being the first of its kind to be built as a Tournament Fighter, the best character roster in any MK game and finally a modded balanced patch called Trilogy Edition which tones down many Top Tier characters like Kabal & Kung Lao and buff the Low Tiers like Jade. This game has it all, I promise you that if this game was released in a Next Gen System with a really good online (similar to the newer NRS games outside of Injustice 1) this game would breathe new life again. The only issues I can think of aside from the balancing of this game certain issues with the story mostly with the Lin Kuei and how they handled Cyrax, how Sonya never competed in the first Tournament at all while Liu Kang was the sole kombantant, Sindel massacring all of the good guys rather than space their deaths within the story (finding better and more tragic deaths for characters like Jade), and just how Shao Kahn is a big dumbass in this game while Quan Chi is taking charge, there are some great moments in the story, the tension between Liu Kang & Raiden was handled great and very Civil War esque you understand the conflict of both characters and how Raiden’s actions leave a burden on him, the chemistry with the characters like Smoke & Sub-Zero, Stryker & Kabal, Kitana & Jade, Liu Kang & Kung Lao, and many more are all fantastic. My other issue is the fact that this game has (or had cause the servers may be down at least on PC) one of the worst online connection of any fighting game, that’s why I say if they rereleased on a newer hardware with a better netcode like GGPO it could be one of the best fighting games ever made. Seriously, give this game a try if you haven’t already.
No other Mortal Kombat game can top this. I'm playing this game non-stop 10 years at this point, this is the pinnacle MK experience
