There are many reasons why we have hands, most important of which, is of course, forfeiting all mortal possessions to Sly Cooper

Thank you for your service Sly Cooper

Crazy to make three bangers in a row and then fall off entirely

Probably my least favourite of the original ps2 games, but it's still great. Too many playable characters and not enough focus on Sly, which is the fun part of the game.

Sly 3 was another fun sly game, but by far Sly 2 has to be my favorite. The game didn't really bring many improvements over the second game, but gathering a whole gang of thieves was a fun premise. The gang as always have a great dynamic and the new characters added some charm. The gameplay is more or less the same besides for new minigames/gameplay sections as other characters. The most disappointing thing about the game is the removal of the bottles that were hidden across the levels of Sly 1 and 2 as it made you want to explore all the places you visited in this game that isn't really important. The game was still a good game, despite feeling a bit short compared to the previous entries.

One of the games of my childhood , i loved every minute i spent playing this game <3

Takes everything about Sly 2 and makes it more of what it is - thievery motifs, heists, and a mission-based structure, which is almost always good, even though for hard-to-define reasons, I feel like it comes together a little better in Sly 2 overall. The villains are a little less interesting than the Sly 2 gang, but the addition of more playable characters is fun (although unfortunately you can only play as them in specific missions, unlike the core trio that are always available). Sadly, just like Jak and Daxter, this series' 4th entry didn't live up to the solid standards set by the original trilogy.

The fact that Sly 4 exists pisses me off because this game ended the franchise perfectly.

The multiplayer is fun... I never started the story mode because I haven't finished Sly 1 and don't own Sly 2

pire Sly de la franchise ma cassé les couille ce jeu de merde

Great followup, but it's way less cohesive than the second. I would have never imagined that a disabled turtle on a wheelchair could work so well in a platform

Flawed in some ways, mostly story related since it isn't as tightly made as 2's and the addition of several new characters bloats the cast. Gameplay wise, the game is great and provides a lot of missions that vary in objective and gameplay style. Sly 2 was more focused on very thief like things such as recon or trading with black market people, but Sly 3 goes harder on providing a lot of unique gameplay segments more reminiscent of Sly 1's abundance of mini games. I think it's a good package overall, and the core 3 are still amazingly written, though I feel they coulda made the Dr. M and Bentley connection stronger.

An opera singing minigame. Murray becoming an Australian hippie. Richards getting sloppy. This is the peak of the legendary raccoon.

Amava esse jogo! sendo honesto, nunca joguei muito o modo história, mas o PVP era absurdo, amava os cenários!

Sly 3 with 3D glasses ah good times.

Crazy how people act like this game is better than sly 4 (and some people think its better than sly 2 LOOOOOOL)

"That does it! I'll floss my teeth with your spine!"
This game has so much charm

I think Sucker Punch just wanted the throw everything in this game for the grand finale. When it works, it's incredible. When it doesn't, it reminds me of Sly 1.

Sly 3 is a ridiculous and non-stop finale to such a fantastic line of 3D platformers. It aims to improve and differentiate itself from Sly 2, but keep the core formula intact. Gone are the formulaic heist, and in return we have some of the most varied missions in the series so far (for better and for worse). The inconsistency can be jarring, but the pure spectacle and charm of the team just putting in the most insane stuff and saying "yeah, this is fun", I have to give them props. The story wasnt as captivating to me, but I loved the concept the team growing, not just in size but in maturity as well. The themes of facing the past really hits, but I couldn't really get invested in the rest of the plot, as much as I did in Sly 2. However it starts strong and ends strong, and all the characters in the game get to really shine in both voice work and impact on the story.

I grew up with the multiplayer of this game, and it was the only Sly cooper game I owned. To think there was a Single Player mode too. Three of them to be exact!

8/10 :)

My personal favorite entry of a very well done series. Excellent balance of stealth and unique platforming mechanics

Easily the best Sly game. replayed it a lot as a kid, and will continue playing it in the future.

this game is probably the best designed game that came out on the PS2, and theres a lot of contenders

Did some things better, some things not as good. More characters to play as was nice, but the collectable bottles being gone was a bit of a bummer, not to mention how some parts felt a bit too gimmicky for lack of better word. Still a cool game regardless.

The end of an era. While Sly 3 ended up not being the last Sly Cooper game, it was the final one to be developed by Sucker Punch and as far as many fans are concerned, this is the "true" ending to the series. Once again you have the three main gang members to play as but you also have a good amount of new characters to play as as well, including some of Sly's old enemies! Once again there's a huge variety here gameplay wise and while I'm not really a fan of all the different segments, the ones I like are really great. Boss fights once again are really great and you still have the option of choosing which missions you'd like to complete and in which order.

The story this time around is that after the events of the last game, the Cooper gang has been a bit broken up as Murray left the team after blaming himself for Bentley losing his ability to walk. On top of that, Sly met up with this guy who ran with his father in the old days and tells him about "The Cooper vault", a huge vault in which the Cooper family has been hiding all their findings in for thousands of years, however upon arriving at the vault they discover that a new villain by the name of "Dr. M" has taken over the island and has built an enormous fortress to keep people out and has also been trying to crack open the safe for years but of course always failing. As usual I don't wish to spoil the game but the main plotline is that you go through the game, recruiting new and old members for the gang in order to have a team that's able to break into the Cooper vault. I won't say much but I do have to say that the final chapter in the game included some great character development between the 3 main protagonists and while the game makes it rather obvious that the series is over after this, it still ends on a high note in my opinion but still leaves itself open enough for if they ever decided to do a sequel (which they did, more on that later).

A raccoon and a thief walk into a bar

More of what made Sly 2 great, but maybe not quite as memorable. Still one of the best 3d platformer trilogies around.

This remains to be the best of the three Sly games. The pirate ship level is legendary and I love the main villain Dimitri being my favorite from the second it's so good to see him join the gang. The gang expanding was honestly a smart call and apart from some repetitive missions here and there this is awesome.

9.2/10

Was more flawed and drawn out in places compared to Sly 2, but still the formula of these games is just really fun and creative, with all the characters still being very lovable.
Ending felt a tad rushed, but it was still decently satisfying
