I didn't realize that this game died but it makes sense. (Wait... after some research I found out that the console versions are still alive... wow)
It's an old mmo that only had 2 good points: the waifu character designs (which honestly was the only thing keeping this game alive for so long) and the best part of this game: the action combat system.
It's combat mechanics were what kept me playing until I hit max level. I even got the platinum. I played a support character (I believe I was a female high elf priest named Faraine) and carried in every dungeon I played with randoms. I basically played this as if it were a single player game.
Almost every other part of this game was bad and janky. The story missions were boring and repetitive, the cutscenes were awful, just navigating the menus felt bad and the world, while huge and varied, was an empty wasteland most of the time, specially on higher level areas. Just playing the dungeons is the best way to "have fun" with this game, and even then they sometimes glitched out, making them impossible to clear.
This game had potential, and I guess I enjoyed my time with it... though I do have a high tolerance for bad games and this definitely was the worst mmo I've played.

I have hundreds of hours on this game on the official launcher. This was such a fun experience it was one of the first MMOs I actually enjoyed playing because I was just stepping into the MMORPG genre as a whole. Great class system, great story, great music, beautiful graphics that do the world justice which was always full and seemed like an actual world that was thriving

Probably the worst MMO I've played personally.
this is the most fun MMO I ever played (pre-f2p). however, due to bad management from both the developer AND the NA publisher it devolved into a nightmarish amalgamation of what it once was. gutted story, gutted gameplay (why the fuck did they make it so you couldnt stun bosses LMFAO), and an somewhat confusing endgame with recycled content spelt doom from this game after it went f2p and just ruined everything that made it great. i would say im sad it shut down but it was dead long before then.
Like every other mmorpg, it has a forgettable mainline story and characters. unlike other mmo's however, this game has hands down one of the most fun combat out of all mmo's i've played. Oh yeah this game also lets you play as lolis so... I'm good...

Dead game lmao. Only good thing it ever had was the action combat. Everything else... bleh. Somehow the combat carried through a lot of the game.
i remember playing this for hours years ago and just mindlessly wandering around doing missions... never figured out how to play properly but thats ok!

For some reason I was obsessed with this game as a kid and even had a tech store worker download it for me (couldn't figure it out). I tried it years later and I hated how they changed everything, and my laptop was no longer able to support it. What a shame, I loved creating characters here!
