Honestly….it’s free and kind of a joke but kind of okay?

I've always had a decently strong interest for flies. They fly (hence the name), dare I say they are stupid and quite fast maybe even too fast. Also we can all relate to eachother because we all see a fly in our lifetime. You saw a fly and I, too, am seeing flies. We have more in common than you think.

As an aside I washed my windows today, and that involved picking up an occupied wasps nest and letting it go in the brush.

edit: i do not stand by this review, leaving it up as incentive to replace it one day. my rating is the same, i just hate being petty and this game didn't really deserve it

no dude you don't get it it's like a metaphor for life bro. like the wind and spiderwebs are like your challenges dude but we all die bro. it goes so deep. Man, nobody gives a shit that life is insignificant on the cosmic scale of things. It's a meaningless moral if nothing's built on top of it (this game doesn't build on top of it) and also there is no fucking way you're trying to tell that tale through a game where you hold up for 5 minutes and fly into a lightbulb. Come on now.

The atmosphere of the ending is honestly well done so I'll give it that, at least

The tiniest game, but very clever.

No game has ever made me feel so many things with so little.

I think am able to enjoy this game to the extent that I do because of the unique format it exists in if this game was paid or 5 minutes longer I would not have the same outlook on it.
it really works as this little 5-minute gag also the soundtrack is so good not something i would expect

"The Plan" is an indie game that, while charming and visually appealing, ultimately left me feeling like I had wasted my time. The game tells the story of a fly as it embarks on a journey of self-discovery, and while the narrative is cute and endearing, the gameplay itself is lackluster.

The main issue with "The Plan" is that there isn't much gameplay to speak of. The entire experience can be completed in a matter of minutes, and there isn't much in the way of challenge or engagement. This makes it difficult to become invested in the story or the characters, and ultimately leaves the player feeling unsatisfied.

While "The Plan" is a visually striking game, with beautiful hand-drawn art and a charming soundtrack, these elements aren't enough to make up for the lack of substance. The game feels more like an interactive art piece than a fully-fledged game, and while that might be appealing to some, it left me feeling like I had wasted my time.

"The Plan" is a game that I cannot recommend. While the story is cute and the visuals are impressive, the lack of meaningful gameplay makes it difficult to become invested in the experience. There are many other indie games out there that offer a more satisfying and engaging experience, and I would suggest looking elsewhere for your gaming fix. 3/10

a pleasant 5 minutes, this is more of an experience than a game. it has a comfortable feeling, to say it's about a fly confronting their own futility. i mostly just ranked it lower because it's 5 minutes long and the only gameplay is moving.

this game really makes you feel like a fly

O jogo é simples mas efetivo, lindo e trilha sonora boa

E o final é algo que eu pelo menos não esperava kkk

In this game you fly as a fly. You keep going up and up. After holding the button "W" for 8-10 mins, you hit a light bulb and die. That's it! Nothing philosophical. It's just a waste of your 10 mins. The music is good thou.
Also, those who get entertained by one pointless achievement are idiots.

Sympatická "zenová" pětiminutová jednohubka ze života hmyzu, která se dá "prožít" i více než pouze jednou.

Easy, simple, and very short, but with beautiful visuals and a good soundtrack. It is good to kill time. We simply play as a fly, and all we have to do is fly up, up, up, until it ends in a... sort of funny way.

I don't know how to feel but i suppose it was ridiculously amazing

While I wouldn't suggest you play this over a lot of other games I rated so highly, pretty sure for it's free price and how short it is, the experience it offers is quite good for minute to game aspect of a pretty memorable little thing, and when I say short, I mean VERY SHORT.

Una hermosa experiencia, te hace sentir mucho con poco, el reveal del final fue divertido e inesperado acompañado de una música realmente destacable y acorde.

ENG: The insignificance of a fly. Perhaps like ourselves.

literally you are just a fly who hits a lamp and dies its hilarious and bad at least its free but like lol you aren't missing much plus its like 7 minutes long

Interesting philosophical idea, torturous execution. (And that's probably the point, but I felt trolled.)

This was a joke with really good graphics and I really love the pun.

The soundtrack is really nice so it is worth a playthrough just for that. Otherwise, the "game" has an interesting concept but that's about it.

Awesome. Stunning visuals, nice ending!

You already know it. At the time it was released, it was mostly the game you play while trying to scour Steam for free singleplayer games, and I guess there are worse options that you could've picked. It really is mostly a joke game as soon as the punchline appears, but it's nice; certainly memorable.

Great music, nothing else to say

I don't' know what the heck I just played, but it was majestic.
