Great adventure-RPG game, but it gets repetitive some times with the sidequests. It's an okay game, really decent it's quite funny some times. The story and narrative it's okay. If you focus on the main quest is a quite small game, I finished all main quest and sidequest and dungeons. It gets boring pretty easily, but now I want to play part 2 to see if they improved the formula used here.

I would recommend it, only if you don't focus on side quests too much. A bit tought for completionist people

Amazing indie, amazing OST and the combat and gameplay is flawless. The story is as weird and intriguing as you can expect from games like this. You notice the tone of it after the first mission. A lot of secrets and gameplay achievments that is a good thing to replay the game.

if you like games like Hotline Miami, Katana Zero is a must. Already on top of the games I played this year

Amazing soulslike experience. The artsytle is amazing and the uses of parallax is amazing, I think it's lower point is both the mission system and the gameplay in general. It feels a bit slow and sometimes unfair hitboxes, and the middle of the game is filled with side quests that you can't accept all at once and has to go one by one. After finishing that middle part of the game, it gains a lot in the last sequence.

If the team learns from this, and pollish a bit more the pace of the game and improve the combat system, they can do a really amazing sequel
