Behold, the King of Budget Racers. Good mechanics, fun sound track. Some dude might as well be screaming "DEJA VU" for half the tracks of this game. Initial D should be proud someone ripped them off in such a complimentary way lol

Dang I love these Shutokou Battle games; probably the best vibes of any racer. This is basically just the Dreamcast games on the PS2, with a couple of nice little improvements.

I enjoy this game way more than I should, amazing game that sadly is forgotten in the huge pile of street racing games

Played this in my high school years after reading a review of the original Wangan Midnight (i.e. not Maximum TUne) game that recommended this. Solid highway racing game, I like the whole lifebar concept.

Kinda wish the localized version didn't inexplicably turn most of the opponents into white people or change all the measurement units with no way to set them back to the original metric system. It's jarring to see mph in a game set in a country that uses km/h.

While the vibes of this game are immaculate it is extremely grind heavy and repetitive. Fun to play for a few races but very tedious to complete. I might never be able to get to the end.
