idk man i get it is not a super involved game but cleaning up a fictional mess with friends for a couple hours is a good use of time to me.

one of my favourite games for goofy co-op. there's nothing better than desperately cleaning every last gruesome spot only for your partner to knock your blood bucket over. bruh

i like it! wish it had more of a ramp in complexity though, if they kept indroducing new gadgets and like vehicles and what not i would've played more of this!

I can like zone out while playing this game and that's cool but my experience was hampered by the first map I played multiplayer (and in general) being an absolute nightmare to deal with

If you want a chill game while watching a film or listening to music this is the game for you.

If you want to wash a bloody mop in a friend's bucket and hear them rage as they knock it over then this is also for you.

very satisfying game but too bugy

Perfect game to drive you insane while looking for the last bullet casing on the floor, or faintly visible bloody footprint under foliage.

Its pretty fun except for when the buckets start spilling and your work gets undone. What holds this game back I guess other than the controls is lack of a interesting narrative (there is one but its very loose).

Viscera Cleanup Detail is creative, but it is also a podcast game as far as I can tell. It gave my hands something to do for 2 hours while I went through a backlog of videos I hadn't set aside the time to listen to yet. The almost immersive-sim like elements are great, I just wish I was given some extrinsic motivation to play the game more. I am probably not gonna play this game again, but I respect it and I respect the creativity that went into designing a gameplay loop for a new genre.

viscera cleanup detail is fun and definitely works as a hanging with friends game, which is really all i ask of it. i do have some gripes with it, largely being that the cleaning mechanics themselves arent super engaging for me. this isnt because of a lack of difficulty, or anything else, it's something weird about my brain. i play it and i keep thinking i could be doing the mediocre cleaning setup in house flipper instead. this rating is my fault not the games.
