A cool concept and interesting level design are brought down by terrible enemy placement and the shitties of Dark Souls 2 shit boxes. The 2 new bosses are great and worth playing this but as a whole, the DLC is a letdown.

The run to Blue Smelter Demon and the fight itself annoyed me so much I completely changed my build to use his boss weapon out of pure spite

fume knight é a única coisa relevante desta dlc. Eu até daria algum destaque pro sir alone mas o caminho até o boss é injusto e insalubre, com isso podemos concluir que nem a dlc foi poupada

Struggles with severe enemy spam, but Fume Knight and Sir Alonne are two of the only really good DS2 bosses, so I've got to give it some credit.

If it wasn't for this DLC and Fume Knight, my experience with DS3 wouldn't be so enjoyable as it was

The oxidized molten-metal castle is very visually interesting for a "fire level." The boss fights are great, I didn't even mind revisiting the Smelter Demon. Overall the best of the DSII expansions and it's not even close.

Bosses bons em dark souls 2, inacreditável.

those two "best bosses in ds2" will never compensate the disgusting locations of this dlc

DIOS EL PASILLO HASTA SIR ALONNE

controversially overall i preferred sunken king dlc to this one, as this particular dlc felt a little more bland aesthetically, not to mention its real gank fest issue. fume knight is probably one of my favourite bosses in ds2 as a whole, he made me cry and weep yet beating him was the most joyful thing ive felt playing this entire game. i will name my son raime to honour him

Raime is probably my favourite boss, cool guy and cool level aesthetic

Essentially the apology letter for OG2.

best bosses in the game and neat level design

Probably the best part of the whole game, two horrendous boss runs though.

There is a lot I like about Crown of the Old Iron King. I like how the level design plays with vertical space, the boss fights against Fume Knight and Sir Alonne, and the Ashen Idol mechanic. I just wish I enjoyed completing more of the challenges than I did (I'll say it, I never completed the Iron Passage because I was too annoyed with it).

Personally a big downgrade from the Sunken King, but it still has its standout moments. Some of the bosses are great but the levels feel like slogs with absurd amounts of enemies everywhere, really feels like they want you to despawn everything just to have a decent time. If you like bosses, I can say they are pretty great, my favorite in the whole game is towards the end, you just need some serious willpower to reach them.

the best ds2 dlc, though it's honestly really close with ivory king. some of the best bosses in the game and i just love walking on that big chain to the big tower.

One of only a handful of genuinely well put together areas and the only genuinely fantastic bosses in the entire game. There is actual problem and puzzle-solving involved and a consistent verticality that really resonates with me. unfortunately it's still stuck in the bones of Dark Souls II.

Fãs de Dark Souls 2, entendam, dois bosses decentes não é o suficiente pra dizer que esta porcaria é um bom conteúdo adicional

I didn't care as much for this DLC as the others. Level design was okay but very linear even for DS2. Though it was a lot more coherent than the base game. Bosses were alright but Sir Alonne in particular felt very "teleports behind you" in terms of movement which I didn't like much. The difficulty was the highest but it didn't feel like it added much here.

bem bosta, pelo menos tem o Fume Knight, que é aceitável

simplesmente a melhor DLC por motivos de: Sir Alonne e Fume Knight

Top 3 coolest Fromsoft locations

Just beat this DLC and have to say this is A LOT better than the Sunken King DLC. I do think the final boss wasnt as good as Sinh but fighting Fume Knight was still very enjoyable. The area just felt more engaging to explore along with fighting enemies, no stupid gimmicks for the most part. Enemies were enjoyable to fight as they hit hard but are easy to kill so it encourages aggressive play. Felt very fair and the setting is awesome.

Out of the three DLCs this one is my favourite one of DS2. Apart from one room this DLC is perfect with three unique and exciting bosses and plenty of areas to explore with fun fair enemies. Definitely worth a try if you’re interested in playing the DLCs of DS2
