this shit was cool when i was 12

Feels like the natural progression for Naughty Dog after the Crash series. I remember playing this for the first time and constantly thinking "this feels like an open world Crash game," and I always feel that way when I play it, which is absolutely a good thing. Possibly hot take but man I miss these old ND platformers and don't care about their new types of games, I want these fun silly games from them again.

It's a pretty bland 3D platformer collectathon, not sure why people rave about it as if it's any different from its much better contemporaries but I suppose it's a solid, consistent experience

Solid 3D platformer I still go back to every so often.

Very tight and colorful platformer, can't wait to see how vibrant the sequels are!

Not as good as Ratchet & Clank or Sly Raccoon/Cooper but its decent

One of the best games of its kind, can always go back to replay it

Easily one of my favorite PS2 platformers

Loved this game and when I saw it on the PS store for a cheap price, I just grabbed it, finished it within about 2-3 days as I've played this game many time I know where everything is and what to do. So glad I got to play it again and get more trophies for it also.

I went from loving to hating this so quickly it's crazy. Camera controls, whatever, I feel silly being like "blah blah blah" about a 22 year old game. 2001, 22 years ago, jeez. That's crazy. Let's not think about it.

You did it Jak! You really are Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

One of my first games ever—near and dear to my heart.

My first platformer. They became my favorite type of game after that.

Loved this game back then and I'd likely enjoy it a lot these days too!

One of my favourite games; I 100% this game casually NO GUIDE; I have zero regrets; I am deeply interested in speed running and have watched Bonesaw577's run of the game for SGDQ 2016 countless times

Lost interest cause it's a bit boring innit

Extremely pure collectathon that has a gorgeous world to explore and smooth responsive controls.

Needed just a push more and it could have been on par with Sly and Ratchet.

amazing animation, great fun levels and characters, charming all around, some small gameplay problems and repeating some parts again and again can be frustrating but all in all such a good fucking game

I miss this game I just miss the good old days of my childhood

The forgotten Naughty Dog franchise. Which is a shame because TPL is one of the best platformers on the PS2.

Pretty easy collectathon but it was kino on PS2

Real impressive work graphically. Found the gameply and world alright but when stuff like the elevator hides load screens or the camera pans out to a giant area I still feel impressed. Good presentation helping make an old game still look good is so cool.
