Probably single-handedly converted me into a platformer guy. I died 560 times completing it and I loved every frustrating second. The mechanics build off of eachother in such unique and clever ways. Gets very complex and rewarding fast. Also very cute!

beautiful, compelling, solid gameplay, fuck the tree escapes though

Baby's first metroidvania that is not really a metroidvania. The narrative is very... Childish? But the atmosphere and gameplay are respectively charming and fun. I wish it had better pacing though.

Game #4: Ori and the Blind Forest

Ori is a great game. I completely agree with it but it's just not for me. This game could have the best platforming mechanics in any game I played but when all you do is jumping and running I kinda get bored.

6/10

Beatiful game. While I didn't find much insetive to continue playing it or finish it, it is Beatiful for what it is. 4/5

jogo é mt bom, mas enjoei n sei pq

Loved everything. Aesthetics, gameplay, music. Perfect jump and run.

The platforming was fun, the combat was uh, not the best. I was loving this, until the final lava area. That area was an absolute stinker. Everything else was good.

Feels really pale compared to the sequel, the combat sure was so much worse.
The art is still gorgeous tho.

A metroidvania that plays like Super Meat Boy. If that sounds like a terrible combination, that's because it is. This is the only game I've ever played where I was excited when the game was over.

looks stunning, controls are smooth, gameplay is very fun and emotional moments are there.

Usually when playing a game like this with no important audio I just listen to a podcast but by the end I was so engrossed that I just wanted to hear that beautiful music

It's visual style is beautiful and there's some fun gameplay mechanics but the game doesn't feel deep enough in several different ways.

Very enchanting game, just a little short, especially on replays.

One of the best looking metroidvanias out there, the gameplay is nice overall but what hooked me was the soundtrack.

One of the best platformers out there. Art quality is superb and the game play is very fun. The story is also really well done and emotional. The map can get confusing and easy to get lost, but never feels like I am constantly lost.

A fun game with a lot of promise. I played this about a year ago so it's hard to go into much detail. But I remember a mild attachment to the story and a having a decent amount of fun with the platforming. The way it handled saves was a little frustrating, requiring me to re-play through a bit more than I wanted to when I died. It also ramped up powers a little too slowly, I didn't find it fun to navigate the world until a bit later in the game.

sadece puzzle ve parkur metroidvanialarını sevmiyom abi

ama bi ara dönücem

Very pretty game. Very boring combat.

Such a good art style and maybe the most fluid movement system ever. Why is the combat so awful.
