This game was one of my first loves, I owe so many formative memories to it. I would draw birds and piggies in the margins of my math homework all the time. Even if I think the aggressive franchising of the brand stole some of the charm, the original holds up in my [heavily rose-tinted] memory.

After beating the first section of the game (Poached Eggs), I felt as if the other two areas that I played (well, 1.5 really) were exactly the same except with a different coat of paint. I can see myself playing through it to the end over time when I'm bored or whatever and doing a couple of levels, but I didn't feel as if there was nearly enough variety to make me want to complete it sooner rather than later.

Like most mobile/idle games, Angry Birds is a fun but shallow experience. I enjoyed my time with it, but I wouldn't go back to it.
