One of the best versions of Bejeweled out there made by PopCap themselves which is sadly owned by ea. This game is awesome it got the standard Bejeweled formula plus other twists that make the game even better lightning butterfly diamond mine you name it this game is awesome and I think this is the best way to play with Jewel 3 I originally played the jeweled Classic on mobile which is just a stream down version of three and I got the PC version and I got the DS version but I have to say that the original PC version is the best way to Play the game.

As for actual thoughts, really addicting and fun puzzle game with incredibly calming and theraputic effects. Popcap was really onto something with their "zen puzzle game" phase back in the late 2000s / early 2010s, because this game really does work excellently as a fun calming tool for me. I've been booting it up every night and playing like 10-20 minutes before heading to bed and I think its genuinely helping a good deal.

Just a really great puzzle game. Definitely a little too RNG heavy if you're going for good scores, but the strategies to ensure survival and higher level play are fun to discover and experiment with along the way. The whole aesthetic is extremely consistent and the soundtrack is effortlessly going to be burned in my mind until they put me in the ground. I love puzzle games at their conceptual limit, and Bejewled, albeit simple, definitely feels like it rounds out it's concepts to a great extent.
It's rare to see a game concept taken to it's absolute limit and still be enjoyable the entire way through. The simple match-3 puzzler has been tweaked in several different ways to accommodate eight different modes. All equally as interesting and enjoyable as the others. I'm frankly impressed by the delicate thought put into the user experience and the subtle touches that enhance the gameplay as you get skilled in the game. A perfect, thoughtfully produced product that I can't find a single fault in. Stellar music, stellar presentation, good game.
With the oversaturation of barebones Match 3 games on the current market place, it is a rather pleasant surprise that Bejeweled 3 holds up so well. If anything I think it demonstrates why so much garbage is garbage because Bejeweled delivers a minimal experience without being the minimum. It takes some fixes to work, do look up fan patches to fix the 3D acceleration problem but besides that it works like a charm. I have lost too many hours too playing the Poker mode.
Like the first game, really enjoy the second, not a big fan of this one. How can that be with games this similar you might ask? While it's true that the gameplay is basically the same, I REALLY do not like this soundtrack at all. The first game had a simple yet somewhat futuristic theme the game was made in. The second game had this beautiful ambient soundtrack to pair with the theme of space and the beauty of nature. Now onto the third installment, this game combines FANTASY elements with an electric twist.
I'm not the biggest fan of fantasy settings in general and the soundtrack reflects my dislike of the theme. Some of this sounds like pirate music or wizard 101 lobby music and Ugh I just could never play much of this game because of it
