sucks ass bro ruined zombies HOW DO YOU RUIN ITS BASIC FOMRUAL

Campaign is so awful that it'd be better if they just didn't have it. Multiplayer was pretty fun, actually. The 10 attachment system was so goofy and insane but it actually balanced the guns a lot and made almost all the weapons viable. It was actually alright. The zombies mode was fun for a little, I liked that they tried something different for the first map but when the next one came out it just fell to pieces. It was the exact same thing and it just straight up sucked. Overall, this game deserves the reputation it gets for being trash.

campaign really forgettable, zombies sucked, and multiplayer was very mid

Horrendous campaign and series-worst Zombies. MP did have some interesting ideas with combat pacing, but community was too hurt by initial launch offering.

aftter mw turning back to ww2 themed cod game is boring and also gun play is not good as mw too

The worst campaign in the Call of Duty history, and the worst CoD game just... in general. There's nothing about this game or campaign that is redeeming.

I refuse to believe theres people in the world that wake up and choose COD VANGUARD as their game and say "Yep peak cod experience right there"

Was funny to spray fire shotguns for awhile, but the game is completely dead now. I liked Polina's missions though.

(Purchased pre-owned, Activision isn't getting my money)

This review is only for multiplayer. And really, only for Team Deathmatch at that.

I don't really get the hate for this game? It does go back on some things I like from Cold War - such as returning to killstreaks and getting rid of health bars and some others - but I find it fun in its own right. The weapons feel satisfying, the maps are overall good and very interactive (if anything carries over to future games, I hope the more destructible environments do), and the time period is always a good setting.

But I have complaints new to this game. It seems like you die very fast in this game. Perhaps they were trying to be "realistic" with it, but it makes things more frustrating at times. I don't care for the field equipment; I've been using the armor plates but they don't feel useful too often and the others don't really appeal to me.

Otherwise, it shares the problems that most CoD games have, what was the deal with this one that so many people don't like it?

Multiplayer: Sledgehammer Games with this title decided to just copy the engine used for MW2019 and tweaked it to be more fast paced and have more vibrant colors. Which wasn't really a bad move, although the map pool still not being that great and the implementation of breakable walls was a step back from being as good as Cold War. The TTK was fine but the outrageous headshot multiplier was not something to be desired.

Ranked Play: Treyarch's implementation of Ranked was something which made the game more enjoyable than it originally was at launch, since the Public match experience was not that great. Although the Mode should have been added earlier in the life cycle of the game. And it lacked Demotion protection and SR Loss protection when a player disconnected during match.

not the worst cod. but it had a lot holding it back

THE WORST COD TO DATE Rivaling WW2 Both Made by Sludge Hammer,Both WW2 Guess Sludge Hammer Doesn’t know how to made a Good Game lol Gets An Extra Point for at least releasing mostly Bug Free Unlike an other Certain Shooter Made by Dice that killed its own Series

The hate for it was not justifed. I mean COD multiplayer has never been realistic and somehow this had more maps than MWII has had rn.

as for the campaign. it was okay. 7/10. i wish cod campaigns were more replayable

Oh boy, this game is a rek. I would not suggest this game to anyone, campaign is decent. The multiplayer and zombies on the other hand, no just no.

Came for Zombies, Immediately turned 360° around and walked away.

Worst COD in recent memory, i wouldnt have a problem calling it the worst of all of them. The 1 star is for the campaign only which isn't even that great it has like 9 missions and 2 are memorable. Multiplayer is mid as hell and the zombies was atrocious.

This game is definitely not good, but I would be lying if I said running around with a rocket launcher and a little rc tank was not at least a little fun lol.

One of the poorer releases from the past decade :(. Zombies is good as always but everything else... is meh

I wish I could give it a zero
Fuck this game

Congrats Vanguard. You are the worst Call of Duty to ever exist. No a single woman did not defeat 70 platoons of Germans and motivate Russia to fight back.

Actually even more annoying since i did this on veteran during my all Call of Duty's on Veteran journey.

The campaign was alright but not memorable for me.

parabens!!! pior que o black ops 4

No. I actually hate this game with a passion. Unlike most CODs where I actually play the entire year life cycle, I stopped after a month with this game. And oh man is the zombies atrocious. Easily one of if not the worst CODs.

UPDATE:

It's actually pretty fun playing it years after its original life cycle lol

Honestly, yeah don’t bother with the campaign, especially not in 2023. The story opened with potential, but immediately threw that away with making 2/3 of the campaign just flashbacks. In fact, only the first and last missions are actually in present day. Even the characters are just boring. You have Wade, a hotshot pilot who’s all “oh formations slow me down,” and he’s on ground missions for some reason, Polina, who’s whole character consists of just “kill Nazi, that is plan,” and is just downright the most uninteresting character, Arthur, who’s supposed to be the leader, but again, just a boring character, and there’s Lucas’s, who’s actually slightly better than the others. I genuinely just played through it just to get the trophies at this point because, Jesus the campaign is uninteresting.

Oh, and the multiplayer? No I’m not getting started with that

Campaign: N/A
Multiplayer: 4/10
Zombies: 2/10

Played it at a friend's house. Multiplayer sure feels like CoD. The new Zombies, though...eww.

I personally disagree with the hivemind on this one. Not about the campaign, oh no, every COD campaign is and has always been fucking awful, but the MP in this game was actually a nice breakaway from the standard COD recipe.
