I'm genuinely shocked. This is my first Persona game. It was free on game pass, and at a time of boredom I pulled the trigger and tried it out. The first hour I was like "wtf is going on" and I thought this would be just a weird anime game I wouldn't like. I was wrong. This game honestly blew me away. This consumed the last 2 weeks of my life. After the first 10 hours in I was like "Oh my god... I get it." There are so much incredible things about this game. The combat is pretty good. (reminds me a lot of Pokemon and Paper Mario) The dialogue and voice acting is top notch. So many funny, sad, and happy scenes that were enhanced by the voice acting. The characters are also really awesome and by the end of it I felt like I honestly knew them. And the music goes ridiculously crazy; I heard lyrics in the first hour of playing and I was "dog what is this" but soon after I'd be singing along to "Color Your Night" lmao. And the ending….very emotional, shit had me staring at the main menu after the credits rolled. Found an amazing new series to start playing. Time to play 4 and 5!
