I keep crashing into walls it's such a bitch to drive in this game

I wish you nothing but pain Francesco Bernoulli

It's just a bunch of levels one after the other. Surprisingly not too bad.

Not as good as the first game but shooting cars with machine guns is cathartic as hell.

My fucking childhood, it's too good

No le doy media estrella porque gracias a este juego me compraron la 3ds

Man, i keep coming back to play this game, it feels like some kind of drug. Why is this so good? Maybe it because is a cars game... yeah.... maybe is because of that....yeah...

Amazing roster with tons of fan service and extremely fun racing and game modes.
Shame the open world was cut but the core game is still fun and it looks great

The maps are very fun and while many of the early maps are too open, the later ones are much better with sharper turns and the like.
I wish this game had a better story, the opening cutscene makes you think it'll have one but there really isn't one.
It's very fun to play in multiplayer

it's a Cars game. What more do you want. It was a fun platinum. I enjoyed playing it.

Literally the only thing I remember from this game is playing it after swimming

Completely different from its predecessor, and completely opposite to its movie, "Cars 2" is a very addictive game, lots of re-playability, lots of extras and you don't get bored, if you play it with someone else it's going to be the best experience of your life.

Mario Kart but with the Cars world basically. Completely left the open world scene and focused on the pure racing which I don't really think was a good idea.

I guess some things had to be sacrificed, that being the open world but who cares the racing is fucking fun as hell and the character selection is PACKED

solid arcade racer that controls well and is generally pretty fun (more than a typical movie tie in) but i’ll probably forget it quickly

Um jogo de corrida que consegue ter mais ação que o RE5

Better than the movie, but thats not a high bar to cross.

I was obsessed with playing that game at my step sibling's place at the time , I guess it was kinda good .

This is still a fantastic game, but man this port is terrible. Horrible graphics and constant crashing/audio issues, please just play the 360 or PS3 versions.

In my review of Cars: The Video Game I said that I wanted a Cars game that was essentially just a racing game with extra minigames, and the game for its sequel delivers.

The game takes place... actually I don't know. After the movie, maybe?
You and a variety of racers have been recruited by the secret agents from the movie to undergo hologram training.
I don't know why. A lot of these cars are just racers from the track with no reason to be here.
21 characters. 5 of whom are enemy cars, and 6 of whom actually probably deserve to be here.
The rest are background characters and racers who probably have no idea about the spy stuff.

The game itself consists of 7 "chapters" (labeled Clearance Levels, other than the first one) of 6 levels each.
Each "level" is a different type of driving minigame that takes place in either Tokyo, Italy, London or Radiator Springs.

There are regular races, "Battle Races" (think Mario Kart - Battle Races have powerup weapons and regular ones don't), Attack missions, Survival missions and Hunter missions.

In Attack missions, you chase and blow up enemy cars, gaining more time as you destroy more cars.
In Survival missions, you collect batteries to keep a shield active while you also chase a car that carries bonus batteries.
And in Hunter missions, you fight 5 waves of enemies.

Each mission has three win tiers, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
In both race types these go to the first three places, but in the three other game types you get a trophy for every lap you complete under the time/battery limits. The Hunter levels are point-based, more points = higher rank.

Getting these ranks aren't necessary for the 100% save for the Hunter missions (although you need at least bronze on every level for it) but it's probably quite easy if you strategize.

I got my first non-gold rank halfway through the game and that was because I chose speed over strategy. I know I could probably get full gold if I put my mind to it (and it's quite tempting).

Once you complete a level you can then play it to your hearts content in the Free Play section of the game, which makes getting collectables easier.
Exclusive to Freeplay are two multiplayer game modes, Arena and Disruptor.
Arena is essentially just a two player Hunter mission and Disruptor is just capture the flag.

The only collectables in this game are briefcases full of "spy points" (I don't know what they're used for). Collecting them is difficult sometimes but it's satisfying to grab one.

Something I've essentially been ignoring until writing this review is the section called "World of Cars Online" which I think is for an online game that doesn't exist anymore.

Cars 2 is quite a fun game. I enjoyed going through it and I'm excited to see if the game for the third movie is any better.

I just spend an entire year playing this game.

HOOOOLLLLYYYY SHHHIIT this game is underrated as FUCK! grab a friend and shoot up and blow some cars

Even with the low poly graphics of the PC version it's not as bad... Still bad, just not as bad.

Funny Mario Kart without Mario

I really don't like the Cars franchise, but if there's a way to get me into it then it would be through a fun racing game. Unfortunately, this is not that :/

The concept is a fun take on the second movie, but it also means nothing of consequence ever happens since it's all a simulation. Despite different stats, the cars essentially all feel the same and they don't control great. It's not quite like driving a boat, but it's closer to that than feeling like a well tuned car. Some of the races are way too long, like 5+ minutes long, and when the cars aren't a ton of fun to drive it quickly becomes tedious. Also the majority of the "events" aren't even races more like battles or time trials, which is just not for me! If you like those types of races or events then you'll probably get more out of this than I did.

It also just ends. Granted, I didn't get a gold medal on every event, but I did get at least bronze and it just ends with a quick joke and then encouragement to go back to get gold. lol no thank you!

ITS A CLASSIC BABYYYYYYYYYYYYY

A common racing game with guns and rockets but awful pc port
