Creo que es el peor de los 3, aún así no por mucha diferencia (a todos les puse 4 estrellas)
Siento que las mecánicas nuevas eran demasiados y los escenarios eran demasiado
I think it is the worst of the 3, still not by much difference (I gave them all 4 stars)
I feel like the new mechanics were too many and the scenarios were too much

If you were to ask me as a kid which Crash Bandicoot was my favorite, I'd say it's this one.
Now I have no idea why I ever thought that. I suppose it's the fact that school kids didn't know as much about its secrets, so I spent the most with it.
It's a good Crash game, but only when it's allowed to be a Crash game, which is about 50% of the time. It relies on way too many gimmicky levels: something which previous games basically didn't have. Even when you'd ride an occasional animal, it was still platforming.
Crash 3, however, adds swimming, boat levels, flying levels, racing levels, and I hesitate to call any of them particularly fun. It doesn't help that there are as many levels as previous games, which means that there's basically not much actual platforming happening.
A few QoL features are nice, and the distinct enviroments really help this game stand out. The biggest addition are the relics - speedrunning challenges added to each levels - which are a little hit or miss. They are required to unlock secrets, which feels like padding. Even if I don't usually like speedrunning challenges, I think the implementation of time stop boxes helps the action a lot, but they're not ideal, again, due to sheer number of not-platforming levels. Even the presense of time-stop boxes barely change them, so you basically end up playing gimmicky stages even more to unlcok the final world, which is quite disappointing.
The game has the best bosses out of PS1 trilogy and I really like its style, but I wish it was allowed to be Crash Bandicoot more than it is.

To be fair, this was never gonna be as great as 2, but it's still a fantastic game. My main issue is all the new vehicle levels. Underwater segments are okay, since they mostly retain the regular gameplay, just very slowly, but everything else is kind of meh. Nothing awful, but I'd still rather play through normal Crash platforming levels
