My first game, and memories i can still remember to this day, still an amazing platformer and with a charismatic cast of character, but really, the best Crash game, it'll always be one of my favorites.

Ever accidentally hit an alien sign post only to have you transported to the sea? Well I have.

As close to catching up to Nintendo as they'd ever get. Hell the water effects still are unsurpassed.

Feel exactly the same as the majority regarding this game. Platforming levels are fun. Vehicle levels suck. And god are they fucking miserable, with the motorcycle and plane levels especially. Like really ND, it wasn't enough to make the motorcycle handle like a tank? Now we gotta do it in the dark w/ fat UFOs blocking the road and chasms sucking you in for barely clipping their edges? Y'all crying about Abby in 2020, ND been trash since '98 for this nonsense. AND the fact that the secret world (26-30) only consisted of VEHICLE levels (not counting the two secret paths for already-existing levels)? Was so disappointed when I came to that realization, this just might be my least favorite of the trilogy.

Unlike Crash 1 and 2, no part of this game made me want to die.

I played the level "orient express" so. many. times. As a kid, that I could beat the gem time trial with my eyes closed, loved it. Rest of the game was charming and lovely but that level was the main event.

this would be the best in the series but those jet ski levels suck so hard

not really a crash person, this is the only one i played and yee it was pretty good but i didn't think the 100% completion stuff was very good

Crash 3 improves on Crash 2, and the addition of new types of levels was a fun improvement on an already solid formula. I spent a lot of time with this game as a kid, and I really enjoyed it.

what if crash 2 had cool abilities and even better crash stages but added way more fluff with very mediocre vehicle stages

does everything the first game does way better!!

One of MUST PLAYs for everyone´s. Great game, great level, great music, great bosses. such a masterpiece

This is a game that is so close to greatness but falls short. The platforming is just as amazing as 2, which is some of the best controls in a platformer, and the general platforming levels are amazingly done. The problem lies in nearly 1/3 of the game being bogged down by stupid vehicle levels that ruin the flow of the game. Even on my first playthrough as a kid I remember constantly avoiding the vehicles levels in each hub until last because they just drag down the pace so much when you want to get back to the interesting and fun platforming levels. In the first warp room alone you have only 2 pure platforming levels, with a lame jet ski level, an underwater level and an auto runner. Every warp room is like this and they get even worse with the motorcycle and plane levels. After you beat the game you unlock spriting shoes and once you beat a level for the first time you can replay it and beat it as fast as possible for a chance to get a relic, which gives the game so much more replayability if it weren't for the constantly gimmicky vehicle levels. Racing for times on your average platforming level was a blast but doing anything else is just a drag. I still played it an insane amount as a kid and even got 105% in it as an adult in anticipation for the remakes but it was an awful gaming experience and I'd never do it again. What a shame.

The actual platforming levels and time trials are fun, too bad fully 1/3rd of the game is gimmicks and vehicle levels.

A game balanced between many good aspects but also many bad aspects. While the graphics, music and level design of some levels are cool, there's many problems with things like boring gimmicks, extremely simple level design and completing the game to the 100% is more of a chore.

Thank you for my life Cash Banooka

The bandicoots learned how to pilot vehicles and everyone was worse off for it.

Actually my favourite game of all time, I can replay this game so many times and never get tired of it.

Not as good as the Looney Tunes racing but it will do.

"it has too many vehicle sections" fuck you blasts you with my forearm laser

Good. But lots of vehicle filler levels.

Every time you fail in a motorcycle level I bang you're mom harder.

I still believe that this is the most polished of the trilogy, and doing Death Tornado spins still gives me a rush. The motorcycle sections just keep getting worse with age though.

i like crash bandicoot games but if someone in real life asked me if i did i would probably say no
