Destruction Derby 64 is pure mindless fun and a blast from the past! It's all about smashing cars into each other – racing is almost secondary. Controls are simple, and the crashes are satisfyingly chaotic. Sure, it gets repetitive after a while, and the music's pretty terrible, but if you want some arcade-y demolition action with a retro twist, you'll probably enjoy this for a few hours.

One of the most fun games in the console, specially in multiplayer.

It's easily the best DD game in the series, and it's not even developed by the same original team who did the PS1 games.

I was a big fan of the early PS1 Destruction Derby games and I had the chance to play this N64 installment a handful of years ago. It wasn't too bad but I find the PS1 games to be more memorable. None of them are what you would call easy to go back to but, anytime I can give my dust covered N64 a little attention, I definitely try to.
