A good mod for HL2, the guns are good,the effects work well,the maps are interesting, even the glass breaks cool on them. There was a similar mod for HL1 - "The Specialists", so the idea is not original.

Multiplayer Max Payne on a budget with an extra serving of jank. But I can't help but adore this thing. Double Action: Boogaloo is the embodiment of everything I loved, and still love, about Source mods. I can't help but have a blast every time I boot this thing up, and that hasn't ever really changed.

Aside from the steadily dipping player base, I recommend this if you have a tolerance for jank.

Didn't play much, but I remember enjoying it a lot for what it was. If you're into action-movie style gameplay, this is what you want.

back in like 2014-2015 it felt like everyone and their mother - even Ubisoft for christ's sake - was trying to capture the feel of a goofy action b-movie. none of them succeeded.
