Quit many years ago -- I think around when they added "ghost" versions of the main dragons. I had every dragon for a while, but there are just too many features and things to upkeep. Park designing was pretty fun, though.

me and my mom played this game and I had a lot of fun

Dragonvale is pretty great and polished for a mobile game, albeit with some questionable monetization.

While still a very cute and easy going game this game is infested with transactions, way more than i recall there being when I last tried this in probably 2012 which clutters the limited viewspace and puts me off wanting to load it up.

So many memories of playing this game with my sister.

My gf loves this game idk what its about tho

I owe it as many stars as I do because of how much it influenced my middle school and high school years. This game is singlehandedly responsible for so much bonding between me and my brothers. But considering that now I'm an adult with other things to do... I don't know if I'll ever go back. Especially with the waves of content they began introducing with waves upon waves of dragons that can only be bred during very tight windows of time. It's one of those games that if you stop playing for any reason, the longer you stay away from, the harder it is to go back to, both because of the content you missed, and the clarity of no longer being addicted.

This is a really odd thing to try to review since this was a game that I played a lot when I was younger and even still I play it occasionally when I think about it. I used to love trying to get every single dragon and I played this even before you were able to buy the air dragon with coins, so you had to breed the fire and water dragons.

Moving on, this is yet another game where everything takes time to do but it can all be sped up for real money. This game is fun of micro transactions, and while you don't need to spend a penny in this game to do anything, it gets very annoying to have to wait 2 days for an egg to hatch.

That being said, this is a game made for kids who have nothing better to do than to spend their time on an ipad, clearly. But there is plenty of content to work for, including dragons, pedestals, and other things.

Lots of nostalgic value for me and decent game to play over a long time, but gets boring if played for too long at once.

you really gotta go into it expecting a grindy unskilled timesink of a game, but that's not why you're here, looking for a review of dragonvale in 2021.

pick it up

I have 511 dragons
The designs get better and better but it just gets harder and harder to get the new ones
Sometimes it's too much to log in and collect all my stuff

calling in-game ads "visions" is the funniest thing in any video game ever

Dragonvale > Clash of clans

Far too much time was sunk into this

I played this a lot as a kid. Its alright

This game goes pretty hard, but it's very MTX-infested and they still haven't fixed the fucking Facebook sign-in error.

coming from someone who’s played this since 2012, it’s full of micro transactions spam+gashapon dragon breeding+endless annoying tutorials+insane time gated get ready to spend a decade to get the useless dragonne park of your dreams if you don’t have daddy’s credit card.

It's really sad that this is a microtransaction infested, takes-a-week-to-do-anything gambling simulator freemium mobile game because I would absolutely pay for a dragon park simulator with its mechanics that wasn't trying to emotionally torture me into spending money

i have been playing this game on and off since high school so i pretty much owe it 5 stars at this point
