Decided to review every Duck LIfe game on here for some reason, and this one blows ngl. There are 3 minigames and for being the main chunk of gameplay they aren't that exciting. Running training is slow and timing your slow jumps to the rolling logs is tedious and flying training has zero skill involved in it if you don't collect coins. Swimming training is fun, and the concept of training a duck for racing is honestly a strong setup for a series. You can skip this entry and miss nothing important though
Wow, uh, this is not good. Thought I had a lot of nostalgia for this one, but after playing it for a little bit, it's actually Duck Life 2 that I played the most as a kid.
Duck Life 1 is an incredibly rocky start to the series and I'm honestly pretty surprised it ever amounted to anything. The running minigame is totally busted at higher speeds, the quickest way to level flying is just to click go and wait until it's over and repeat, and the swimming game is fine, I guess, but at higher resolutions there's a gray smudge in the middle of the screen that basically never goes away. The small amount of text in this is littered with spelling and grammatical errors, most of the images are just random stock photos, it's suuuper crusty. I think I knew this even as a kid, and it's probably why I picked 2 over 1 pretty much any time I went to play a Duck Life game, lol

I know you guys don't believe me, but i own a huge farm and make tonnes of money. And then, one day, a tornado comes along and destroys it all. And, get this, the only thing that survives is a single duck egg. So now, i have to train this duckling into a racing duck. You know, to make enough money to rebuild the farm.
Yup, this is a math website flash game alright. Somehow you can always tell, they've got an especially simplistic aesthetic to them and depending on the game can be extremely grind-y. Almost like an idler with extra steps. It's not a bad little game at all, but idk if I'd play it again. Customization in this one sucks though, DO NOT buy a cosmetic unless you're sure you want it.
