Now that the full game is out, I can pretty confidently reiterate how good it is, although I haven't had too much time to play recently I played a good amount at launch. Really fun and unique game, incredible dev support as well. For only being $5, it's a really good game to pick up.

i forgot that i was ass at this game

MORE OSFE CONTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I definitely think the main game feels way smoother, but it makes sense this game is a lot more slower-paced due to the PvP nature.

Definitely well worth checking out if you're a fan of Megaman Battle Network.

Game's great, the core mechanics of One Step from Eden translate really well into PvP, but I am surprisingly bad at this, barely able to win any online matches, even though I was really good at Eden (i got to like ascension 12 I think)

This game is absolutely amazing. Basically its only issues are a few minor bugs but otherwise it's everything I hoped for and more. And it's only 5 bucks, so really I think you should just go and buy the game right now and thank me later

I've not been much into fighting games ever since Skullgirls went and jumped itself off a cliff into oblivion. But this game? This game is poppin'.

It takes the best parts of One Step From Eden and makes it a multiplayer PVP match that rewards creativity, timing, and execution. While it won't replace Skullgirls for me, as I'm just not that good at it right now, it's by far and gone my favorite game in terms of it mechanics and technicalities. It feels fresh in the fighting-game genre and really is good at bringing out annoyance as well as excitement every time I boot it up, only wish it was optimized a touch better for steam deck.

Highly recommend giving it ago, especially for the price of only $5, it's a steal. I just hope they keep updating it and adding more characters/cards and definitely more skins, so I can continue to pick it up, get deleted in ranked, quite, and relapse a month later.

Got to play this game with one of my friends and its a keeper I love the emphasis on the PvP aspect of Duelist of Eden, it feels very fast paced and engaging when going up against people. Customization is through the roof you can pretty much choose any kind of playstyle through your deck building

For what it is, it's criminally cheap. A PvP game based off of Duelists of Eden, it's no short of tense, fast moments. Amazing soundtrack to also go alongside it makes its such an enjoyable expereince.
It can be a bit buggy here and there, where the game gets a bit messed up when doing local play but other than that an amazing experience all around, even if I suck major arse.

the first fighting game outside of smash i've ever enjoyed
