I remember watching screenshots and trailers for this game on the internet as a kid, seeing the big 3D Cul-De-Sac and being really hyped thinking it was some sort of open world sandbox game like Simpsons Hit & Run with lots of stuff to interact with. Eh, nah, just a very standard low budget adventure game. It lives up to it's aim to feel like a bunch of playable EEnE episodes with the nice cel-shaded artstyle and lively character models (it even has the vibrating line thing), but with only 8 levels, 6 not counting the extra ones, it's extremely short even compared to other licensed tie in cartoon games and you could beat it or even 100% it in a day.

Really interesting experiment in stylized cartoon renders, otherwise, it's somewhere between the Traveller's Tales Lego games and the extremely linear 3D platformer of the early 2000s. You switch eds to use various skills, you partake in combat which is describable, neither for ill or good, as present. It's perfectly serviceable. The last stage relies a bit too much on some of the title's worst mechanics, but the rest is a good time for fans of the show, or 3D platformer fans that are otherwise tapped out for new genre titles.

I'm also biased when it comes to Ed, Edd n Eddy, so I also really like this game. In reality, this one is not nearly as good as the Billy & Mandy game, but man, I still love it just for how charming it is.

Even tho the character models in this game are pretty...Hedious...To say the least. The presentation and style this game has is one you don't often see in licensed games based on cartoons.

It almost feels like you are playing an actual episode of the show. Between the original voice actors, the sound design, the way the characters' outlines shake a bit and even the way the Eds run; it all just adds to a pretty authentic experience for anyone who is a fan of the show.

It definititely isn't perfect, and maybe if I played it today I wouldn't find it nearly as fun; but overall, I'd say it was worth checking at least once.

no sé por qué pensé que esto sería buena idea

I've been stuck on that boss fight with Rolph's goat for 16 years

This was always one of those games I wanted to play back in the days, but never got around to. Now that I'm moving into a new house and have no internet for another day I decided to finally give this game a go, and after finishing it I'm incredibly mixed on it. First off there's definitely effort put into this game from developer A2M, from the custom developer logo where the Ed's are fucking around with it to the game trying to make this the most authentic Ed Edd n Eddy experience in videogame by having the whole game fully voiced by all of the original cartoons cast as well as using custom title cards for the games loading screens when you're in a specific level, to the intro and ending to each level having limited anikated cutscenes that recreate the shows art style really well, to using the exact soundtrack and sound effects that the show also used, there's clearly a big love for this game and it's source material. Some of the unlockables show this love such as being able to unlock the ability to watch the ever so popular "My Best Friend Plank" music video (this game was only a couple of months after the launch of youtube and was a great surprise for people asnit was not easily available to watch outside of tuning into CN and hoping they play it that day on the channel.) and also some just for fun rewards such as a Big or Small Head Mode. Each Ed having a variety of different abilities also sets up the game to have a great variety of puzzles and options to approach things. Level 5 in particular is incredibly fun as you're tasked with making your way through a Haunted House to collect certain items in a scavenger hunt like fashion. Unfortunately the gameplay in general is a bit too repetitive in most levels and is relatively straightforward despite the Haunted House level, you'll be mostly switching between 2 or 3 specific abilities in each level which can just become tedious. It also doesn't help that the physics are a little too slippery, resulting in constant falling off of ledges and platforms when you didnt mean too. The last level of the game is also a big letdown. It recycles a lot of gameplay ideas you've already do e in the previous levels as well as having an incredibly annoying final boss that's a pain in the ass to play. It's also incredibly short at only 6 levels that'll take you about 2-4 hours to beat. Overall, this game has a fantastic presentation that's Unfortunately hampered by its irritating gameplay. It's definitely disappointing for me in terms of licensed games, but it's far from the worst I've played. Despite being disappointed it's probably still on the good side of LG than bad, and I'd definitely recommend it for fans of the show. It's a quick playthrough and it is fun to experience the stories of the game, almost like finding new long lost episodes of the show.

I loved this game when I played it as a child, not so much now. I'd say this game is somewhat worth playing if you're a hardcore fan of the show, but if you are looking for a good game... look elsewhere.

How did I never beat this game as a kid? Was I just straight-up stupid?

Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures is the reason my dad owns a PlayStation 5 and became obsessed with The Last of Us for a year. I'm not shitting you.

The year was circa 2009, or something like that, and my brother was obsessed with Ed, Edd n Eddy. Kind of. Back then, we had a small collection of licensed games. There was a copy of the Robots game that I thought the House Fairy (my mom's way of getting us to clean up after ourselves) gave us once, and a copy of a weird Animaniacs game that I don't remember at all. Those are the two that stick out to me the most. So my older brother's frothing at the mouth at the thought of playing a game based on one of his favorite cartoons, and lo and behold, one exists. So he goads my dad into going to the nearby GameStop we bought a copy of Animal Crossing: City Folk and a mic for our Wii at. No cheddar. But they have a copy of it for the PlayStation 2. At this point, we're using our Wii as a glorified Gamecube and boot up Goldeneye on our dad's old N64 to scream at each other. All hope is lost for my older brother until he remembers that, 'wait, doesn't the PlayStation 3 play PS2 games?' Neither of us Google that, and the thought of watching my older brother play it inspires me to add a PlayStation 3 to my wishlist come December out of the blue. Cue the gift card my dad gets from work that Holiday season being the perfect amount for a new console; cue our brand new PlayStation 3 getting unwrapped next to a copy of Mind Flex that will gather dust in the years to come and a copy of The Beatles Rock Band for Wii that probably went to a Goodwill somewhere. Cue the memories spawned from my neighbors: the kids who went to our house for the trampoline we had in our backyard and LittleBigPlanet; the kid who lived right next to us who was so obsessed with Call of Duty that his birthday cake was literally the cover art of World At War one time; the copy of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood sold to my older brother for five dollars and promptly ignored; and, anecdotally, the kid who had to get sent to the ER after a pop-it was thrown at his head. That last one isn't related, but it comes up every time I remember these things.

If this game didn't contribute to my childhood, I don't know what did.

Too bad it kinda blows.

Very faithful to the show (which is great because Ed, Edd n Eddy was a favorite of mine), but the gameplay was rather sloppy at points.

Also, those models are hideous.

A show about the mid 2000's gets a game influenced by games from around the mid 2000's. Pretty charming although my eyes haven't healed from all the internal bleeding: those models cut deep y'know?

The game needs a remake. The things that are holding it back are either bugs or just mechanics that are annoying ass hell. First of all, the game has fantastic animation for the 3D cutscenes, the characters looks great and accurate in the third dimension. However the animated cutscenes are just animated slideshows. I feel like if this got a remake it would be awesome if they redid them to have better quality. Humor is just as you expect from the show, random, witty, absurd, snarky, just all around funny humor that got me to chuckle a few times. Gameplay wise there is some to work on. This game plays like Sonic Heroes, you swap between 3 characters and use their unique abilities. Eddy can do a totem stack that allows them to walk through narrow pathways. He can also throw stink bombs that he made from the recipe his older brother handed down to him, they can stun enemies. Ed can pick up items and also do a goat ram. The goat ram is fast as all hell, it's hilarious how fast it goes and it's honestly fitting to Ed's OP nature in the show. Double D can do a trampoline jump to help him get to higher areas. He also has a water balloon sling shot, which he can use to take down marked targets. The game makes good use of these abilities (however I did find myself using Ed's special ability more due to its sheer speed and strength) however they do a poor job marking what is required. You can have placements that look like random objects but it turns out they are targets for one of the Ed's to use their special ability on to be able to proceed on with the game. They also do not let you know which one to use which is a bit annoying, but it doesn't happen that often. I just wished they let you know that certain stuff is interactable. The enemies that bite your ass are super annoying. They catch up to you quick and if several of them come at you at once you are done. Luckily this game doesn't have loading screens between deaths, but it is still annoying to have all of your actions cancelled because of some tiny ass bastard. Last boss was incredibly annoying because of those stupid ass munching squirrels. I feel like this game could be one of the greatest licensed games ever with it's great art direction and overall fun gameplay. If you like Ed Edd n Eddy I really recommend it. It's short but it has some collectables that you can get so you're not completely over when you beat the sixth and last stage. 7/10, pretty good.

They say that if you look into 3D Kevin's eyes, you will see your demise in horrid detail.

Another game i played when i was a kid.
This game is exactly what you would expect it to be, goofy fun time.

Played this because of the 25th Anniversary of the show that I love growing up and still do to this day. This is a very fun game to play. I love how each of the levels in the game are like episodes you would watch from the show. I like how they brought in every character here including the Kankers. Soundtrack definitely seems like it belongs to the show. I like how the abilities each Ed shares is represents their personalities. Humor is also as funny like with the show. The hub world for the game (the Cul-De-Sac) is honestly something they didn't have to do but I'm glad they brought it here to make the game more like Ed, Edd N Eddy. I also love how the 2D cutscenes is the same artstyle as the show.

The models for the characters. Looks ugly. I mean... they look exactly like the characters, but very ugly still. The AI for the other eds you don't play as is very dumb. What's worse about this is that you need to advanced with all three of the Eds. They cna get caught or stuck in anything and what's annoying is you have to go back to get them. Also when one of them dies, you all die. In the Urban Rangers level, I had Eddy or Double D always falls off the platform and had us all die. It's incredibly annoying.

This is definitely a perfect game for Ed, Edd N Eddy fans. Is the game amazing? No, but it's still great. from level design to soundtrack, this is definitely something that fans of the show will really love.

Impressed with how they managed to recreate the show’s style for this game!

Took me a little less than four hours to beat this over three days time. I liked the show as a kid but some of the humor hasn't held up as well, though I appreciate the game having the look and art style of the show. The voice actors do a good job too, although some of the lines throughout the game were overused and ended up being annoying. Eddy's balancing thing was useful sometimes but was hard to control, especially over balancing boards and whatnot. After having played Finding Nemo where all you do is swim in rings generally this game had a bit more variety. I know there are bonus levels too but I couldn't bring myself to do them because I didn't really care for the game overall.

5.3/10

I love Ed, Edd n Eddy, so not much to say. Also one of my childhood games, didn't have many ways to emulate as a kid and it always baffled me why all the cartoon games I'd be into skipped PC, but this one didn't! So I played it, I don't remember when I first got it (likely 2010) but couldn't progress it, it wasn't until 2014 where I finally beat it, bonus levels included

Pretty decent game, the presentation is good, they definitely tried to capture the show and the music is straight from it, the OG VAs are also present and it's got some good writing, there's fun lil' things like Easter Eggs that give you cheats and costumes for Ed as well as finding Jawbreakers with quotes from the show! It's mostly the gameplay that holds it back as there's some segments that are really bad like the first encounter with the Kanker Sisters where you have to aim with the left analog and it's inverted and you legit have to be perfect or it's a game over.

There's definitely fun to have with this one, especially as a fan of the show but yeah, but kinda an alright game tbh.

Honeslty way more fun than i expected.

lots of fun but the very legal way i played this game caused the audio to sound like someone dipped the va's mics in chocolate milk before they went into the studio

I think the cartoon is the best American cartoon ever made. This game though, falls so short of the praise I give the show it's based on.

Sloppy in a lot of places but very charming in how faithful it is to the show's spirit and art-style. Just slightly more effort than you would normally see in licensed games at the time, which is appreciated.

A treat for Ed, Edd n Eddy fans. A short, comfortable playthrough with plenty of secrets and cheats to find. One of my guilty pleasure games.

Fuck this game is great, gonna start running it again one of these days

Juegos que jugué en su momento y les tengo cariño pero seguro estaban culeros.

As a huge Ed, Edd n Eddy fan I'll be the first to tell you that this game fucking sucks.
