The first of my PS3 games that I remember playing A LOT of!
This game introduce the single player mode if I am not wrong and it was fun. It was also one of the first games that introduce the ability to play the keeper and that was fun.
The Player Impact Engine and those David Villa 50 metre unstoppable finesse shots made all the difference.

There was a time i was literally addicted to this, and did like, 3 full seasons on career mode, despite that mode lacking big mechanics like Fifa 10 had, because of Fifa 11 disappearing with all of them. And it's quite amazing, a game lacking in depth in its game modes, actually making me still play because it's so damn fun to play it.
Super refined and solid gameplay, challenging and hard to master. The tatical defense system is great, despite in some moments, the challenging turning to absurdly hard to pass the ball or progress on the pitch, somestimes teams scoring on you if they want to in weirdly ways, and big teams just being impossible to beat, no matter how well you play. Still, this is just a masterpiece of a game, and i never got tired of it, i just ended up testing Fifa 13, and then 14, and staying in these games.. but i'm certain i'm going to be back on this one very soon.

The Wii version didn't even have Ultimate team which kinda sucked. I also remember crappy players being able to score from 50 miles away for no reason.

going from fifa 13 to this is extremely rough,gameplay is tottaly different in a way that makes this game more unprecise and slower,against the ai most games will be a 0-0 because is (at least in my experience not abusing mechanics and using meta players) too easy to defend and too hard to get through a wall of defenders since movement is really clunky,passes are way too slow and attacking ai is near non existent
