Muito obrigado Lost Judgment, eu devo ter perdido uns 10 anos de vida por causa desse Raxel arrombado

O jogo é muito bom pra um jogo de luta

More fast-paced than Virtua Fighter, and with a cast of interesting and varied characters, Fighting Vipers is a pretty fun fighting game!
It seems like this game emphasizes juggling more than its slower contemporary, and with the addition of walls in the stages, it can lead to some pretty funky strings that I love to do, especially as Mahler!

Also, having the Japanese Sega Saturn version allowed me to play as Pepsi-Man, and while his moveset is nothing out of the ordinary, he's just so damn fun to play!

Worst fighting game of all time.
also why they got a jotaro knockoff
And fuck you raxel.

the fighting is so clanky and slow with jank movesets, no way in game to look up the moves, 8 characters, and such shitty one-dimensional gameplay, this is the worst fighting game I've ever played

a solid game for an occasional play sesh; but eventually i just wish that i was playing Fighters Megamix or a Virtua Fighter game instead. i will say that Model 2 games still look sooo pleasing to my eyes.

A solid 3D fighting game for its time. Yeah its janky and kind of clunky but its still very much playable. The controls work good and there is fun to be had with its combo system. I never played the sequel but if its any better than this one they i'd say I should check it out.

probably should've played this before the sequel, but it was a good time nonetheless

Its a fast pace, less tourney focused VF. Basically, if you know VF's basics, you'll translate fine here for the most part.

One revolutionary thing this game introduced.... WALLS! Cages! Shit that most 3d fighters use from here on. And they are pretty broken for some characters.

You got strings, moves that blow the opponent away and moves that specifically break armor (which no in-game movelist on any official release specifies.)
Throwing inputs are also simple (THANK GOD) compared to VF2. Just combine Punch and Guard. But for no reason, the throwing animation can hit from the farthest reach.

Game has armor. You can damage top armor and the bottom half. Have all armor broken (which there's a special input to do that) and you're a little faster, do a bit more damage.

Arcade a.i. is cheap as hell but that's par for the course with 90s arcade fighters. And it really gets cheap at the last 3 fights so you just gotta know more about the game( that means know the easiest exploit.)
Still no Mortal Kombat 2 or Art of Fighting 2 or even VF2 in terms of A.I. cheapness.

Decent 3D fighting game but nothing really to write home about.

Rather play this than Virtua Fighter

Look, there's only a few games that let me punch people through walls alright? That's always gonna be fun.

Virtua Fighter is one of my favorite game series ever. Sonic The Fighters is one of my favorite games ever. This is just the bridge between. A lot of cool fundamental shit akin to Sonic but a lot of the advance shit you're able to do like Virtua Fighter make this game very fun to learn and hard to put down. My girlfriend wants to play more fighters with me and she was able to pick up and learn this one pretty quickly and I was able to watch her learn and grow in a fighter in a pretty dope way. The armor breaking mechanic is also very smart and makes you think before vice versa of being the armor breaky or the armor breaker. You lose more health but also do more damage so it becomes of mind game of whiff punishing or grabbing when you reallllly need to.

I only dock off points for the final boss. He already is advance ai you don't have to make his attacks do 292838238 damage too!

A very unique fighting game for its era, Fighting Vipers is a very physics-based game that has a unique feel to it. Characters will bounce around depending on the momentum of your attacks and your actions in battle show this. The fighters are all very unique. I played as Bahn and Raxxel and I loved both their playstyles. Additionally, since I played the Japanese version, I got a special appearance from Pepsiman, who serves as a secret final boss. Overall Fighting Vipers is a fighting game classic, and I urge anyone to check it out!

I liked this much better when it was called “Virtual Fighter 2” but even so, I just think these Saturn fighting games with their floaty feeling and very bare bones 90’s esthetic have aged exceedingly poorly. They might work as a nostalgia trip. I know I have fond memories of playing VF2 with my cousins growing up. Yet, these early 3D fighters just aren’t worth more than a history lesson anymore.

(Played via Judgement)

I went into the Sega Arcade and picked this one since hey, this is that game Sonic the Fighters is based on! While the controls feel more confusing than they should be (more a me thing), the feeling of comically sending your foes flying either upwards or through the ring and into another universe is a never ending source of comedy. Unfortunately this is one of those "The AI is a cheating bastard" games and in later rounds going for grabs or even blocking is completely useless since the AI will just beat you if you even think about them, and your best strat becomes spamming low punches/kicks to keep the foe at bay. I played as Bahn because he looks like Jotaro and all in all had a good time until the last three rounds which were hell.

[repetitive music]
[copy paste assets and character movesets]
[awkward controls that seem to change in real-time]

Oh yeah, it's Saturncore alright. Played with Nowhere, we ran into a bug that made the Pepsiman stage's music loop indefinitely on screaming "PEPSIMAAAAN.. PEPSIMAAAAN-"

Virtua Fighter 2 if it was good

honey es una excelente waifu
nada más para decir en realidad, es virtua fighter casual

a fighting game which can be fun sometimes, despite the introduction of cages and armor which you can break when you hit a devastating blow on your opponents, the AI are cheating bastards who know exactly what input you do and you can only beat them by making distance attacks or a long juggle combo

yes, i only played this because of Judgment, why you asked?

This is what doing cocaine is like

Played via Lost Judgment. Was an alright fighting game, essentially Virtua Fighter with an armor system.
