Terrible PC port. You have to do a lot of modding to get it on par with the PS1 version.

Posiblemente, la peor historia de amor que haya experimentado nunca

Lo cual es lamentable considerando que es uno de los temas principales

maybe not the best Final Fantasy, but certainly my favourite.

junction system is ..... meh

Really disappointing after how great VII was. The combat was not nearly as enjoyable and just felt like a slog. The story was unengaging and the characters for the most part were annoying. The graphics on a technical level were better, but it lacks the visual charm of VII. I rushed through the last half of the game leading me to get stuck on the final boss (underleveled), but I just didn't have the desire to do the necessary grinding to beat her. I really just don't care enough.

Absolutely beautiful video game with writing that feels very queer. Quite possibly the most trans lesbian video game ever with the gameplay to boot.

Very slow. Dialogue also sounds like it was written by a child. I find it impossible to take any of the characters seriously or care about them at all.

OOOOUUUUHH IM SOOO ALONEEE!!!

One of the best endings of all time.

Back in the days of the Playstation 1, I played Final Fantasy VIII, although I never managed to finish it. In 2015, I decided to revisit the game with the goal of finally completing it. Surprisingly, it took me longer than anticipated, as I only accomplished that feat three years later from when I initially started. But I did it! I enjoyed the game overall (the extended duration was not due to any dislike for it), although my personal favorite remains Final Fantasy VII. The game's soundtrack, once again, stands out as a delightful piece of art, even beyond the context of the game itself.

Final Fantasy VIII marked the last installment in the series that truly captivated my interest to play. From that point onward, the style of the games shifted considerably and lost, at least for me, some of its appeal. I did give Final Fantasy IX a try (twice), but in both instances, I never managed to complete it. By then, I was playing more out of obligation because it was a "Final Fantasy" title rather than out of genuine fondness for it.

I didn't like the combat system and the game didn't get enough interest for me to finish it.

I don't care what anyone says, I will ALWAYS love this game, the gameplay can be a touch repetitive and easy to break yeah, but it has Nobou Uematsu's greatest score to date, and Squall is still the best protagonist in the series, he's just like me fr
