Fleshchild could have been a great Yume Nikki inspired game, sadly due to its never finished state and it being seemingly canceled, the story of it ends before it really picks up.

You start as a new flesh child and collect new body parts from day to day, while you dream and explore those dreams after getting a new body part. Like in Yume Nikki you can find various things that let you transform, but due to its short length, only the Satyr one is actually useful in my opinion.
Something I disliked was the inconsistency, like the bookshelves, as you can read the first ones, but all other were non-interactable and sometimes paths continue behind buildings, while other times you can't pass behind buildings. A full version might've fixed these problems, but as said... The project is canceled.

What is left is a somewhat mid-game.

Really liked the gameplay that it presented and it is a great aditions for what is the formula for the Yume Nikki inspired games. Maybe it's not traditional like Yume 2kki but doesn't feels too different.

very interesting concept, truly wish that it was completed. at its current state though you're not gonna get much out of it due to it being perpetually unfinished
