Game & Wario is a quirky collection of minigames designed to showcase the unique capabilities of the Wii U GamePad. The games range from wacky and creative to somewhat mundane, offering a mixed bag of entertainment. While some minigames cleverly utilize the GamePad's features, others feel like underwhelming tech demos. Game & Wario offers some multiplayer fun and amusing diversions, but lacks the consistent charm and addictive replayability of its WarioWare predecessors.

Has like 2 hours of mediocre content. The Gamer minigame is pretty fucking good but that's about it. Decent tech demo!

Underrated wii u gem. Not a traditional warioware game but still a good game with all the modes being really fun!

This may not be a traditional warioware game, but damn does it deliver. This game is worth it just for the fun i had with friends playing fruit and pictionary.

Incredible game, phenomenal mini-games with a great concept, and the characters match it perfectly

i have fond memories of this one but gamer really is the only thing justifying its existence

Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I purely booted this up for the pyoro minigame (amazing claymation remake I might add), but ended up having to go through the whole game again. The pirates minigame is super fun, as well as gamer, honestly wouldn’t be surprised if I go back to them from time to time.

It's alright. My favorite one was Crygor's design one since it got me to challenge myself on measuring inches in my head, and reminded me of the good old days drawing with my DS touch screen. The game is honestly really mindless and kinda boring compared to other WarioWare's sadly. I don't really feel compelled to play these minigames multiple times to farm for tokens to unlock a ton of stuff in the Gacha Ball gallery. Thankfully WarioWare Gold exists to salvage WarioWare during the Wii U/3DS era.

What a game. Truly the game of all time.
Wii U gamepad technology, of course Wario had to capitalize on it! The art style also peaked with this game, it's literally just the same as Rhythm Heaven's and it looks fantastic.
I think instead of reviewing the game as a whole, I think it would be more appropriate to give short reviews for every minigame instead.
Arrow: Boring. It's a bit clunky too.
Shutter: Pretty good! I like it's theming and the actual game itself is pretty solid. It's a bit unfortunate that two of the same "maps" were used twice but it's whatever.
Ski: Okay. It's pretty standard and isn't all that interesting, but there's nothing too wrong with it either.
Patchwork: Not a bad puzzle game, but boy do I kinda suck at it. I also like how this game kind of emphasizes Ana more, I always liked her better.
Kung Fu: Kinda clunky, but it's nice seeing Young Cricket actually doing kung fu stuff. I guess? Does this even count?
Gamer: Easily the best game in this package. Not only is it actual WarioWare, it's a got a really cool other part of the game that makes the game amazingly suspenseful! The best way I could describe it would be WarioWare FNaF and it's a ton of fun. I also appreciate the inclusion of a mode where you just play the microgames, too!
Design: This one sucks. I don't wanna pull out a damn RULER for Game & Wario.
Ashley: It's good, the gamepad movement works better than I thought it would. One of the better games.
Taxi: It's mid gif I like how this was the start of Spitz talking more, though.
Pirates: I like the idea, I love the rhythm, but it doesn't work as well as I would like sometimes. I also don't want to do poses after the rhythm is done, sorry!
Bowling: I hated this one until I realized I could tilt the gamepad to control the movement. It became okay after that.
Pyoro: Funny little bird guy who has become more than that in recent times (if you know, you know)
I can't review the multiplayers games unfortunately, but I've heard good things about Sketch.
The music in this game is alright, Pirates is good (it HAS to be), though I wish there was a vocal song somewhere, basically every WarioWare game has had one up until this point.
Definition of an okay game. Shutter, Gamer, Patchwork, and Ashley carry it for me. Game of all time!!!!

Such a fantastic Wario Game on the Wii U

Hey we have some spare tech demos lying around what should we do with them?

MAKE THEM INTO SIXTEEN SHORT GAMES AND PACKAGE THEM AS A WARIO GAME

...genius.

it's not really a surprise that gamers is the highlight for people because it is what people actually wanted: a warioware game. while some of the minigames included do an ok job of taking advantage of wii u tablet gimmicks, they just aren't warioware.

I remember this not being amazing but I have a strange amount of nostalgia for this for some reason

its a mid game but its MY mid game

A few good ideas on the single player side but most of them were ported to Gold. Almost everything else lacks the depth and replayability Nintendo Land does.

Game & Wario is a fun enough game, however it falls into the same pitfalls as many other minigame collections where there just isn't enough content.

the last warioware game before mr takeuchi changed his style for the worse

begging my parents to buy me this game thinking this was going to be just like smooth moves and then it turning out to be whatever the fuck this is was the beginning of the end for me

some fun games some not fun ones

Don't listen to the haters, it's a true Wii U gem.

Games & Wario is the 8th game in the Wario Ware franchise, this title doesn't really follow the usual tradition of the Wario Ware games with the whacky short minigames but focuses more on arcade-like games that you would replay in the likes of Nintendo Land or Wii Party U, I personally think it's an ok change, I would, of course, would've liked to get a more traditional Wario Ware game too but not following the footstep of it's predecessor doesn't make it bad either.

The mini-games themselves are pretty hit or miss, they heavily focus on the gamepad and its features like using the gyro to look around, twisting the controller around for new ways to play, and many original ideas for whoever loves messing with this big piece of crap called the gamepad, and yeah, that's me, I really enjoyed this game.
Though, alike most Wario Ware games, this game is only like 2 hours long to beat and there's just not much to do especially when it's retailed at 60$. This is a global Wario Ware issue and not particularly just this title, but that doesn't mean they have no replay values, they mostly just rely on that to justify their price point.

But other than the game being gimmicky & short, what's more to it? The art style is so adorable, I really adore those cutscenes before each mini-game and they truly peaked with this entry, it really makes me want to see a small Wario Ware cartoon in this art style or something. And uhh... the bonuses are nice, they work like in Wario Ware Gold where you earn coins for playing mini-games and then you earn random gadgets and goodies to fiddle around with for 10 seconds, similar to how Wario Ware Touch did it.

And.... That's kinda it. The reason why I'm only giving this game a 3/5 is that it's truly lacking in content, it's fun and a good Wii U experience, but like all Wario Ware games it just feels like a barebone whacky tech demo that should be bundled with said system like Nintendo Land, but overall it's just a fun Wii U gimmick fest only available on Wii U, forever.
So don't listen to the haters and try it out yourself, you may or may not enjoy it, but it's far from being a bad game.

And here's a ranking of all minigames from best to worst:

- Gamer
- Shutter
- Pirates
- Ashely
- Taxi
- Patchwork
- Bowling
- Design
- Arrow
- Bird
- Kung Fu
- Ski

Completing the trifecta of "Wii U Classics that'll never get Switch Ports," Game & Wario is a hoot and a half. To this day, I still pull it out to play with friends and family. A great collection of mini games that demonstrates that the Wii U certainly had potential. Required reading.

works like shit but its wario so its funhy

Weird as it may sound, I rarely played this game outside of its "Sketch" game, which was essentially Pictionary using the GamePad. It proved to be a real fun party game with friends and a perfect utilization of the GamePad! The rest of the game got minimal playtime from me :P

The only good game is the one with 9-Volt

gamer >>>>> every fnaf game

A neat game but maybe they should have actually made a WarioWare game that worked with the Gamepad. Gets 3 stars for the gems hidden in this
