This one isn't a puzzle game. You don't use previous guesses to help aid your quest to find the solution. This one relies solely on your listening habits, and your ability to remember songs. It's a neat little guessing game that's enjoyable if you love trying to figure out what a song is, and that's about it. You have 6 tries to guess the song with the 16 second clip that's provided. Each try unveils more of the 16 seconds, but after 6 tries, the rest of the song is revealed, and you're left either going "hey, to be fair, I've never heard this before", or "I hate myself, how could I have forgotten this song". I like to play this live with my Twitch audience every other day as chat loses their minds waiting for me to guess a song they already know, or lose their minds at me guessing in one try. Sometimes you discover something you haven't heard before which is a plus for me after taking an L. It's a neat little trivia game that you can play on the daily.

This can be fun, but song titles are such an all-or-nothing subject that you don't really get the dynamic experience of gaining information based on your previous guess. As a non-wordle fan I can't speak to how true it is to those puzzles, but I can say that worldle is a much more engaging activity than heardle.
two big flaws: first, the limited selection of answers in the autofill narrows things down immensely; it's hard to feel particularly accomplished if you start typing "fleetwood mac" and there's only a single song by them to choose from

RIP in peace, for the longest time I had an 80% win rate using just the first second
While theres no real strategy or way to influence the outcome more than just knowing the song or not, theres something I just find super fun about replaying the first few seconds of a song over and over, racking my head, exasperately exclaiming "GOD i KNOW it but wHAT IS IT???" and then having that euphoric eureka moment of realisation.
More akin to a trivia type of game where you just kind of have to 'know' it compared to wordle. But hey, that can be fun too
