A beautiful piece of art that goes on a little too long. Finding what to click on can be very annoying. Controlling with analog stick sucks.

A poignant story of the complicated relationship between parent and child that was all the more impactful as a parent myself. It asks some profound questions without pretending to have all of the answers. As an interactive story, there’s more story than interactivity, but I didn’t mind as it’s told effectively with beautiful music and a strong performance. It isn’t the greatest game in Annapurna’s catalog, but it is solid and worthwhile.

Sweet little meditation on loss and realising that your parents are just people too

it's hard for me to negatively review something that someone clearly put so much heart into but, well, here we are. like it told a nice story I suppose but as a game, I guess I was just bored. it was frustrating to figure out what the game wanted me to do to proceed and after a certain point I just wanted it to be over

Out of the two Mommy Issues™ games Annapurna has published this year (so far?), this is the worst. Not by a large margin mind you, but A Memoir Blue has higher production values and is paced a lot better. The story this game tells is really sad, but it overstays its welcome so much that you end up just completely bored out of your mind.

6/10
For the first time, I will not recommend a game with a more or less unique gameplay, it seems that indie games are also slowly turning into "conveyor", so we came up with 1 mechanic that no one had used before, applied on it a standard visual, a tearful everyday story about mother-daughter relationship, and that’s it, connoisseurs will buy, but we didn’t count on a million sales.
Yes, of course, it's interesting that you just need to rotate the camera, look for a suitable angle to move into the next scene, an unusual Point-and-Click game turns out, but something else is missing besides the basic mechanic, the gameplay is not even diluted with other mechanics, well, a couple of times they will let you choose what memorabilia you will put in a suitcase in which there is not enough space, and move something a couple of times, but in general, it is incredibly boring to play, you will just speedrun with music or a video on YouTube, without even entering the atmosphere, the game does not look like a holistic creative work with some general idea of creating it, here it would be possible to come up with some kind of game about directing films and searching for a cool angle, but here some kind of indie unique consumer goods turned out) eh, Annapurna, why did you give money on this.

emotionals but meaningless with clicking

A great title if you're looking for molasses-speed artsy-fartsy clickthrough of loss with genuienly miserable mouse sensitivity input.

In Hindsight, I recommend you avoid this.

A decently effective story about a strained parental relationship. Nothing here blew my mind or anything. It's pretty simple but it's told well enough.

The gameplay consists of a single gimmick that involves rotating the camera to find an object to interact with, or to line up a visual with another to get to the next scene. It gets old pretty quick.

Not the worst way to spend two hours. Recommended if you're in the mood for an artsy fartsy story game with minimal gameplay.

A nice story, well written, maybe a little slowly paced.
