I'm not a fan of the way the controls work here, but once you get acclimated to pointing your canon in the right direction, it becomes a decent vertical shooter, even if it gets somewhat repetitive.

The very first SNK game that used rotary joysticks. Playing as a tank, the gameplay is rigid and slow, and you're fortunately able to pack a punch. But you also get enemy fire from every angle at every second, and considering that the title has both horizontal and vertical scrolling, you can get easily ambushed by every corner and die. This makes for an extremely frustrating experience a lot of the time. I'd recommend it if your into early and not forgiving arcade games.

Weirdly enough I had actually preferred Tnk III over this one because this had felt a lot more slowed down than that of Tnk II.

This game definitely had me seething, but that's just how games were back then (?)

Can't really complain about anything as there's nothing actually janky or broken about this game, it was just designed to be difficult near the end. Most difficult was needing to conserve power ups at crucial moments and not being able to go back. Other than that, just a simple NES game that requires some gaming skill.

Got to the 2nd to last level but had to drop due to emulator glitch and not enough motivation to fix the problem.
