the songs and the coaches along with the backgrounds they're in are amazing and the menus + actual online rooms is nice but some things r kinda botched such as the sfxs for stars and superstar + megastar being really not that good. i also REALLY dislike that they removed separate gold moves (meaning when each person has to strike their own move one at a time, the gold will repeat until all gold moves are finished. a good example is the crucified or feel special map)

WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE WAY YOU PLAY THIS??? I REALLY MISS HAVING CARTRIDGES AND ONLY HAVING CASES WITH DOWNLOAD CODES!!! GO BACK TO NORMAL!!!

I LOVE JUST DANCE !! It always makes me really happy and I love it a lot

Just Dance is always a fun formula to me, and it's hard not to have fun with any of these games. This game in particular brings impressive visual improvements over recent games however, continued from 2022 edition. The switch to a new engine is ultimately what defines this game though, much more than the maps themselves. Said new engine has issues to work through, like consistent freezing in-game and crashes, as well as lacking some established features from previous titles (sweat mode, custom playlists, world dance floor, etc.). Those issues are ultimately what knocks a star off of the best Just Dance game track-wise in my opinion. I feel like it's only uphill from here with this series, and I'm excited to see what 2024 edition has in store.

This is the 2nd worst Just Dance game I've played but it's good enough to guarantee it a score of 3 stars at least. That's because of the song list that it has to offer. But using a phone as a controller is really an issue due to the potential possibility of breaking your phone. That didn't happen but the chances were favorable. The graphics are great as always but the controls are the main reason for giving this game a 3 instead of a higher score. If you want to try this game out at least once, get it on PS5 or Xbox instead of Switch albeit the Xbox Series version also uses a phone. I recommend you buy it on Xbox or PS5, but just watch footage of the game on Switch. 3/5.

has great songs and is fun to play every once in a while

great tracklist and maps, but the new features (and lack of) make this frustrating. downlaoded songs assestswont load and crash the game, THE REMOVAL OF MULTIPLE DANCER CARDS + WORLD DANCE FLOOR IN FAVOUR OF ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. these tweaks make me want to throw my switch in the bin. no wonder it was half price and digital only. interesting to see if the sings that get release later this year are a paid DLC thing like in just dance 4 or ANOTHER subscription. Ubisoft count your days

I gotta be super specific about this.

The Just Dance live service client that 2023 Edition exists on and the JD+ service is currently lacklustre at the moment with an inferior user interface and missing over 600 songs from the Unlimited servers the previous games had access to.

The scoring's gotten worse too, but eh, I felt like that started happening in 2021.

2023 Edition in of itself however, as in the "on disc" songs we've been given this year are phenominal and are absolute peak Just Dance with a wonderful selection of songs, gorgeous MVs that use the new "3D worlds" recording technique and the Danceverses playlist that introduces a light story mode incorporating a few of the songs this entry brings.

So long as you're buying it purely for the 2023e on-disc songs, it's the best in the series, but anything else will disappoint.

This was surprisingly an acceptable game in the series. Just Dance isn't the type of game to win awards or anything but from what I've played, this is the most fun I've had in a Just Dance title in recent history. Setlist is pretty solid, dance choreography are some of the most creative I've seen, and the background video that accompanies each music track is robust and animated exceptionally well. If I had to pick a downside, the live service is not needed whatsoever. If they plan on doing so, they need more to convince me to subscribe to the service than just old songs I can easily play on previous Just Dance games. But overall in terms of graphics, setlist and gameplay, this seems to be the step in the right direction.

Played this for 5 minutes and never picked it up again, sorry not sorry :)

It's disappointing that you can only play with friends and not with random people online, unlike the World Dance Floor on Just Dance 2019. However, the new profile update is kinda cool. I still miss the old profiles, though.

Minus half a point as holding the phone at the right hand doesn't exactly measure your moves accurately. Takes the fun and challenge a little.

Still, it's the most fun workout experience you can have (perhaps equally with Beat Saber), so I'm happy that Just Dance exists.

It's a really great game, might just be the new best Just Dance game yet! This has an amazing tracklist with a ton of great songs and super high quality maps with beutiful bacgkrounds and some with awesome animated coaches. It is missing some features tho like custom playlists and the world dance floor which sucks and I really don't care for using the online ever. Also there's Just Dance+ now instead of unlimited so less songs but they do keep adding songs back and the original new songs on it are great so its worth it. The downside to this tho is the missing features and it can also be quite buggy at times which is unfortunate.

Terrible, video buffers a lot, tracking is not that great on phone, just couldn't play the songs sometimes (errors), and not even all the songs are accessible if you don't join uplay plus.

it was fine. i liked that miku was there

Actually the most solid track list the series has had in a while. Completely unironic that I have opinions about the Just Dance series

É difícil dizer quais as novidades o novo Just Dance apresenta além do que é sempre proposto: Dançar.

It's a bit sad how this is the last Just Dance game because Ubisoft is turning this into a live service thing and dance games really were a thing of the Kinect-Wii-PS Move era, but at the same time this is probably the sloppiest and laziest the series has ever been.

It's weird because at the end of the day, this is just Just Dance, but the soundtrack is pretty ass (you really going to waste four licensed song slots on BTS and AVA MAX???? Driver's License? Locked out of Heaven? Radioactive? Rather Be? Stay? Heat Waves? big day for annoying Billboard Top 10 people), the routines seem like the difficulty spike just went through the roof with no care or thought for casual players (ik ik skill level git gud but i have been with this series since Just Dance 1 and the routines weren't THIS complex and exhausting even in 2022 ok), and Just Dance+ is a cheap ripoff of Just Dance Unlimited, literally Ubisoft telling you to fuck off after buying this game and give them more money.

It's really sad that this is how the series ends.
