Aqua deserves the world.
Now that that's out of the way, I like the way they do prequel-esque things and they deserve props for having you play the same worlds 3 times yet make each experience feel unique and not same-y. The characters could use some work in their interactions, but unfortunately that is a hallmark of the series as a whole

It was the first Kingdom Hearts game I completed. The concept is quite simple, but experiencing a Kingdom Hearts game on the PSP was amazing for me. The synthesis system is particularly interesting. However, as a game in general, it is relatively simple and at times lacks the magic of other entries in the Kingdom Hearts series
beat the 3 characters story and watched the final episode/secret ending, at some point I will finish it but purely for the achievement. I don't feel like finding the Xehanort reports.
- Story is peak
- voice acting and dialogue is bad
- Splitting the story in 3 characters is nonsense and repetitive
- Disney worlds were really bad
- Gameplay is not my cup of tea but I liked Shotlocks, they made boss fights way more fun
- I don't like the command deck and has caused me to die more than if I were to have a menu like KH1/2
- Not enough interaction between the 3 characters to come to like them
Also another criticism which isn't really valid and I'm not letting this effect my rating, but I really hate that we barely got anything to see from Sora, Riku and Kairi. I understand this is a game about important backstory but after spending many games getting used to 3 characters, it was hard coming to like the new 3 characters that are in all honesty very boring in this game.

Weirdly my favorite entry in the Kingdom Hearts franchise (a series that is near and dear to my heart) this game offers a refreshing take on playability. Playing through the same levels multiple times can be frustrating in most games, but Birth by Sleep offers a unique take by making all of the levels feel unique and gives them their own plot elements that intertwine.
