[Revisitation of my Childhood, Part 0.5]

This game and it's followup were not the first LEGO games I played, but they...were also not the ones I remember the most. While it is a game from my childhood, I have some semblance of nostalgia for it, indeed. But that does NOT mean I like the game. It has very little merits, and even someone with the most nostalgia for this game can agree with that. I believe my file said 100%, as as far as I know all you need for that to be accomplished is to complete all levels. So I could technically say I mastered this game...but I don't think anyone wants to master this game.

I don't know what the company was thinking that ported this game to GameBoy but they don't exist anymore so it doesn't matter.

This was my first exposure to the Lego Star Wars gamesverse and until I played the console version a few years later, It established my view of the series.

My brain practically melted when I finally got the PS2 copy and realized that the game was actually good. I've never been impressed by a handheld port of any home console game, but this one really excelled at making my head spin because of how different it was as a game compared to its original inspiration.

Christ this is a chore.
It tries to apply the standard TT Lego formula to an isometric format, and my god it doesn't work. Boring level designs, annoying to hit enemies but they can hit YOU just fine, and short story modes that abridges these movies more than usual.
A neat curiosity, but nothing more.

The scorching Florida sun must've seeped into my brain when I begged my parents mercilessly for this at Tatooine Traders in Disney-MGM Studios in 2005 because this is definitely not a game you want to beg anyone for

When I was a lad, I thought a portable version of Lego Star Wars might be something I wanted. I was wrong.

Played Lego Star Wars on the Game Boy Advance, I have. Regret it, I do. Not a good port, this is

Even as a child I knew this game was ass

[GBA Version] Someone must have missed half of Episode 2 and thought that Episode 3 was four and a half hours of Yoda walking slowly and jumping around the jungle smashing turrets, because that is all you do in this game. It was SO boring, and levels are ridiculously repetitive. I cant believe some poor kids would have got this Lego Star Wars experience instead of the real one on consoles. They were lied to and deserve better.
