as someone who has played countless hours of the ps2 madden games i think this might be my personal favorite one.
madden 08 ps2 had some improvements but it lacked the tony bruno show in franchise which kinda took away from the atmosphere a bit.

Loved "Be a Pro" mode in this madden

has probably the most impressive feature set of any football game ever. superstar, franchise, and the core gameplay are all great. lead blocking actually functions in this game especially since you can control a lead blocker which was a consistent problem before. the audible system is also greatly improved and much more clear to the player

Probably the second best madden. Still sick you can play as all those random foreign teams.

I think this version of Madden is alright, but it doesn't change enough to really warrant a purchase. It adds juking and spinning as well as lead blocker control, and yeah, those are things that should have already been in the series, they aren't massive enough to mean a full purchase.

More of the same from Madden on PS2. This would be the last Madden I really played much on the console. Soundtrack continued to be great and it played smooth & was fun. The career mode was worth playing too.
