The last flawless madden. Wish they brought it back to the fun basics nowadays but alas. So many hours spent on this with dad playing franchise legend draft and picking the goats Marc Colombo, Ken Lucas, and Bret Keisel and then somehow getting Utecht as my backup TE every time (no joke, every time) after I simmed in like the 45th round. Goated game and the best video game soundtrack of all time.
It introduced Ultimate Team and it drove us downhill but the cover is sick. Don’t judge a book (or game) by that though.

It was the 1st time Madden felt like a fresh start since the 1st one I’d ever played. (04) The lobbies for online were toxic and I made so many memories with this game + I had terrible internet at time. Wish they’d bring back the Madden Moments.
NFL games are fun in a way but also so RNG that it's just frustrating but this one had some fucking bangers on the music lists
Played the Wii version. Textbook EA, charge the same price and give the same name but provide a watered down NOTHING of a product. One of the very few games I actually get angry thinking about
one of my favorite maddens, game play felt slow at times but def one of the ones ive put the most time into
Oh god, I forgot to rank the Maddens. Most of them were fun, but got old fast. 5/10
MUT helped kill this franchise and this was the origin.
Super Bowl 43 replay allowed me to whip those Squealers and bring Kurt Warner another Super Bowl ring.
The madden moments were a lot of fun and ended up beating them all with a friend. The lions one was cursed though. Only sports game I played a lot of online, and abused how good the vikings were in this iteration.
