The Madden game of my childhood. I remember the numerous times I played this with my brothers and the blasts we had with every game. Considering what a corporate piece of sludge this series has turned into, it's those past experiences that I will continue to cherish should I ever pop this one back into my GameCube.

Another solid and enjoyable Madden outing. Looking back on these older Madden games, it makes me depressed what this franchise ended up turning into...

This was mostly my older brother's game. My younger sisters and I mostly watched him play it, and we were impressed/obsessed with the slow-mos... good times.

Handheld good, console good, generally good.

We start to rise and go up hill around here, I’ve played all the games and you can say that from the jump from year to year this is the most exciting one.

More of a foundation for the next two installments than anything else.
