I can't for the love of god beat the final boss, but the rest of the game was kind of fun.
The DK DLC was way better than the base game for some reason

I have by in large hated Ubisoft games for the last decade because they always came off as poor quality. But this is definitely the exception to the rule. Once you get past the bizarre premise, Mario & Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a fantastic tactical shooter on the level of X:Com. It's easy to pick up hard to master gameplay kept me going through its worlds, and even made me laugh once or twice.
It usually goes for very very cheap nowadays, so pick it up next time it's on sale for $5.

Novodobý rodinný tahový X-COM naroubovaný na Maria, ubisoftí infantilní králíky, Donkey Konga apod. O co trhlejší nápad, o to lepší zpracování. Obsáhlá kampaň vám mozek sice strategickou výzvou neutaví, ale o to ani nejde (navíc se to vynahrazuje výzvami po dohrání, kde již mozkové závity budete muset roztočit solidně). Jeden každý mechanismus je tak příkladně implementován a promyšlen, že i x-comácký předobraz může pouze tiše závidět. Důkaz, že když necháte šikovné hračičky skloubit nespojitelné, tak i na půdě takového molochu jako je Ubisoft stále mohou vznikat hry, co nejsou jen produkty a sázkami na jistotu bez duše. Jasně nejlepší i nejhravější hra Ubisoftu od Rayman Legends.
