I only returned to this game for pure nostalgia, because I used to like it. I started to play this in 2009 thanks to a few friends of mine (it had other server names), although I stopped playing in 2015. It used to be fun farming with friends as well.

After I returned when this was released on Steam, I noticed the server names were different and it had a new race, the Lycan.

This was my first MMORPG (without counting WoW, which I only experienced in my cousin's house), and I really loved it back there. Sadly, this game is too P2W and ends up getting boring when you level up too slowly. Other than that, a lot of things changed, and in my opinion, it changed for the worse. This game doesn't feel as enjoyable as it used to be.

Used to be a great game back in the days, untill the developers stopped carring about the game. Better off playing private servers which I warn you, DO NOT INVEST MONEY! Most of the private servers are cashgrabs with greedy owners and after 1-2 months of being live they will close the private server and run away with the money.

This game is very nostalgic for me, and for all the balkan people as it was one of the most played game back in 2006-2014, (for reference I used to play Metin 2 Ro anmd was one of the most populated servers). Sadly nowadays it would not give me that joy that I had when I used to grind this game back in the day.

A good enough MMORPG at the time that taught me what the acronym stands for as it set up its missions in quite the wide open area to explore. You can encounter enemies (animals at first, then it gets into the more fantastical side) and complete missions either along or with your buddies.
My 2 playthroughs were clouded by lag so I wasn't able to properly communicate with my group of friends so after a week on each it lost my interest. Nowadays it seems to have gotten into the single player pay to win style, which is a shame.

Holy hell I don’t wanna get into this but.. Here we go!

It started off as a decent mmorpg with group grinding as the main aspect, there was actual roles similar to dungeon/raid roles nowadays but for open world PVE(which wasn’t unique but still a rare feature in 2000s and still is).

This super social mmorpg with facets such as haggling, almost infinite WPVP(including your own faction, if you are willing to live as a deserter for some time), group pve whether you decide to level, hunt bosses or do dungeons, niche jobs/rps like potion merchants and many more decided to take a 180 degree turn, resulting in catastrophe.

Long story short the game has been single player exclusive P2W haven for many years and I believe they will keep it that way, this game is objectively garbage with 0 qualities and there is no arguments to justify playing it unless you’re wearing nostalgia blinders.

I’m adding a +1 to my rating because my judgement is clouded from nostalgia.(Would’ve rate the game 3.5 stars if this review was made in 2010)

Çocukken oturur kuzenimin oynamasını izlerdim. İlk okula geçtiğimde oynamaya başladım ve yıllarca, gerçekten yıllarca oynadım. Süre olarak en çok oynadığım oyun da olabilir. Hala her sene bir pvp sunucusuna girer 3-4 gün oynarım, sonra sıkılıp silerim.

Burada oyuna grafiksel veya oynanışsal herhangi bir şekilde yorum yapmama gerek yok sanırım. Tek söyleyebileceğim oyunun orjinal versiyonu artık oynanabilir değil, aşırı p2w. Pvp serverları ise sadece farm üzerine, bir çok mmorpg'de farm yapmanız gerekebiliyor fakat tek attığınız bir metin'e vurup sonra diğerine vurmak, diğer mmorpg oyunlarındaki farmlara kıyasla bile aşırı sıkıcı. Evet, nostaljik değeri yüksek ve bir sürü anı akla geliyor, fakat objektif bir yorum yapmak gerekirse oyunun iyi olmadığını söyleyebiliriz.
