Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two, launched in 2017, disappointingly receives a rating of 1.5/5. This sequel to the original "Minecraft: Story Mode" fails to build on the lackluster foundation of its predecessor. The storyline feels forced and lacks the depth and engaging choices found in other Telltale Games series. With unimpressive character development and uninspiring gameplay, it struggles to capture the charm of the Minecraft universe. This season falls short of its potential and leaves players wanting more from their adventure in the blocky world.
I liked it a lot more than season 1!
But at the same time, I feel like the tropes of the story were REALLY getting stale. Oh look, ANOTHER temple! Wow!
But by the end of the season, it had me really caring about the world and its characters. When I started season 1, I NEVER would've guessed I'd end up actually caring about these losers! Season 2 is just a big step up and I'm gonna miss 'em.

Both seasons of Minecraft Story Mode kind of blend together for me, but from what I remember, this was an upgrade from its predecessor. It capitalises on what the first game established in all the right ways and is steeped further into its own new and refreshing Minecraft lore. It's not as strong as Batman or GOTG, but still very fun in its own right.
