If you crave over-the-top arcade football where late hits, insane scores, and physics-defying plays are the norm, then NFL Blitz 2001 is your jam. This N64 classic delivers fast-paced action, hilarious animations, and a ton of replay value with its customizable teams and plays. While it may lack the realism of simulation titles, NFL Blitz 2001 embraces absurdity and fun, making it a must-have for any fan of party sports games.

My absolute favorite sports title on the N64. Fantastic arcade style gameplay that's fun to play alone but even better with friends.

Kinda fell off a bit at the end.

The perfect arcade sports game often duplicated, never replicated. Fast, snappy gameplay with pretty entertaining commentary and a good sense of impact on hits. What's not to love?

Pretty much the same game as 2000, only with more unnecessary customization options and "better" graphics (lol). The commentary is a lot more annoying in this one, however - they feel the need to announce that every late hit is illegal, which seems pretty obvious from where I'm sitting. A little bit of diminishing returns, but it's still a very good time.

Arcade style football that was fun to mess around with as a kid. If you aren't playing as Steve McNair than what are you doing?
