A very fun arcade sports game. It’s so cool to run on walls and do crazy jumps. It’s definitely better as a MP because SP has a big story mode but it gets old fast.

Exactly the direction sports games in general need to go. While not quite as stylish as NBA Street, these series together emphasize ridiculous exaggerated fun adapting the vibes of their given sports rather than the overly literal interpretations and franchise worship of the squeaky clean Maddens and 2Ks of the world.

Truly a delight, and I'm sure I'll love this a hell of a lot more when I actually get someone to play it with me as the AI is pretty flat to play against and the campaign feels a little empty. If that roleplaying element was given the level of detail of the mid 00s Maddens, that'd really elevate this spin off series.

Y'know I don't think the game is actually that great but I did finish the NFL gauntlet as the Chicago Bears in 2023 so y'know there's a certain amount of respect I must place on it

NFL Street 2 builds on the first game by adding a bunch of new features: wall moves, mini-games, more fields, and new single player game modes. Most of these are great additions, but the single player modes are still too grindy and repetitive. Nevertheless, the game is a lot of fun to play and is overflowing with personality. It's arguably the best arcade football game ever made.

Revisiting the game, I was playing the PSP version, which is a remarkably accurate port of the PS2 version.

Improves on all the fun from the first one. The cover having the New York Football Giants on it is a plus (no bias). My favorite thing to do is play own the city and recreate my friend group as the players on my team. Mad entertaining when they do the cutscenes and animations trash talking

Still replay this often. It's great.

See my NBA Street review. All of that plus more. I'm not really into NFL but in this format, with the smaller teams, faster gameplay, it's really fun. Some banging punk/rock songs on the soundtrack too.

Even better than the first, endless good times and fun games with friends.

WHY IS THERE NO REASON WE CAN'T CHANGE? WHEN WE ALL FALL DOWN, WHO WILL TAKE THE BLAME?

Great game, but somehow managed to be inferior to the original. Off-the-wall moves seemed cool, but did not end up having the impact I was expecting.
