This was the first game I popped into my system, even tho I also got Mario Kart 8 and Mario 3D World, and as a first impression? Ehhhh, it was one of the best uses the gamepad ever got, but since I had nobody else to play with, I barely ever popped it in. Still, it's a really high quality pack-in that's a lot of fun, as long as you've got company
This game was supposed to be Wii U's Wii Sports. Just as the console, this game is underrated.
The single player minigames are probably the first thing you will try in this game (if you are alone, of course). Some games as F-Zero and Mr. Game and Watch's Squid Dance are good, but others such as Yoshi's Car Minigame or Donkey Kong stages are just boring.
The multi-player/single player games such as Zelda or Metroid are good and entertaining, of course is not like a real Zelda or Metroid Prime, but at the beginning it really makes it's point.
The multi-player games are the best thing of this game. Animal Crossing, Mario Chase or Luigi's Mansion are so fun, you can play for hours without getting boring.
The train mode is good if you are with friends but if you are alone it is just replaying it without anything new.
This game may not be the espiritual successor of Wii Sports that Nintendo wanted for the Wii U, but it's a nice thing to play in this console.
