I ACTUALLY WON HERE. UNLIKE FUCKING TETRRISS-AH!

Played while it was still available, but not nearly as often as I did with Super Mario Bros. 35. It was fun, and while I appreciated the developers adding so many DLC themes (purchased the Mappy one myself), I'm not very good at Pac-Man.

It's a fine battle royale game, I remember occasionally having way more fun than Tetris 99. Not as good as Championship DX+.

Cannot believe this replaced Super Mario Bros. 35!

Not as good as Tetris 99, and the format is getting a bit stale. also a little weird to kill off mario 35 for this to take its place, but it works decently. Kinda difficult to break attention from the core pacman gameplay to focus on countering or going offensive against other players, but if you just play pacman well, you don't have too much trouble with it.

um jogo puramente tapa buraco da big N

Fun game, sad it is getting removed.

Battle royale doesn't work really well with Pac-Man for a couple of reasons: Tetris 99 is quick, fast and so are the matches. Pacman 99 requires the player to spend a lot of attention and time for a single match, so it doesn't suit itself for long sessions. Not only that, but being attacked by another player directly slows you down, which affects the player's input and that's not fun.

It was alright while it lasted, RIP.

A game with a lot of style trying to fit itself into a battle royale format that had it's moments. Mostly a game I enjoyed because I could actually get #1 off it a few times :p

R.I.P.

Yeah, this one felt a little forced.

I don't think Pac-Man is made for the 99 concept. Idk, it's just confusing me

is alright, It sucks that Pac-man 99 is being shut down soon but honestly it’s just not all that fun and I always found it lame you had to pay for any themes or modes where in Tetris 99 you could play to unlock cool themes, plus the gameplay loop just isn’t as fun as the other 99 games

It's battle royale Pac-Man. I suck at it but it's still fun.

This didn't click with me as much as Tetris 99 and Mario 35 did. Still, please don't shut it down.

I miss it even if it was painfully simple. It was nice seeing all the throwbacks with the skin packs- I remember being incredibly surprised by the Splatterhouse one.

Actually very fun. Being in the final top 5 gets my heart beating violently. Not the most replayable thing ever though.

Just because it's long gone doesn't mean I can't say that this game was kinda ass.

A fun game while the servers were up, but not super re-playable. it got old after a while.

This game should be a lot of fun but it's just a little fun. The worst mistake this game made was changing too many things. When things show up on your screen in Tetris 99 or Super Mario Bros. 35, the core gameplay is basically unchanged, you just have more chaos to deal with. In this game, you're constantly taken away from the fun Pac-Man gameplay to eat mini-ghosts and a bunch of other stuff that I couldn't care less about. What made the first two battle royale-style games so fun is adding replayability and chaos to a formula that already worked well. Here, they tried to fix what wasn't broken, and I think they failed. It's still fun, it's still Pac-Man, but unlike some other games in this "series," I see no reason to play this over the original game its based on, and as such it's by far my least played one so far.

Pretty Lackluster 99 Game if I'm being honest, got bored after a few hours, had a lot of potential but executed poorly

Why do they delete these games from existence?

Extraña mezcla del mítico arcade de Namco con una experiencia battle royale online. El PvP tiene muchas opciones, lo que lo hace estratégico e interesante, pero los elementos en pantalla y ataques recibidos lo vuelven algo confuso e injusto.

RIP Pac-Man 99. It was fun while it lasted.

its fine, logically this (or puyo puyo lol) was probably the next step to go after tetris, It just didnt click with me personally, tho it really sucks they're shutting this down

There's no push and pull here, as it perverts Pac-Man's well-known gameplay loop and replaces it with a clumsy battle royale system with close to zero impact on the moment to moment gameplay. Not every game can be a battle royale, and Pac-Man 99 proves it.

It's fine. It's pretty fun for a few minutes but isn't something I ever want to spend a lot of time on.

why didnt they make this sooner
