Quite a different take on Pacman from the first Championship Edition, in a positive way. It's challenging and fun.

Basically the DX version of the first game again, but with some cool visual tricks up its sleeve and new levels. Still a joy to play, especially in handheld mode on the Switch.
Better than DX, but still boring and forgettable, it's just more of the same.
The best Pac-Man game by far! It takes everything cool about the first two CE games and recontextualizes everything its own way to make for a solid, mechanically perfect experience that's just so much fun to perfect.

Surprisingly good take on the classic game. The music rules and the overall presentation is top notch. The gameplay is different in a good way from the original, which means it doesn’t serve as a placement for it. Multiplayer mode is cool too.

This is THAT GOOD SHIT dude. Fast paced pac man is always the hypest thing imaginable. The story mode was okay but I really spend most of my time in score attack just going at it. Also good heavens the OST is unironically one of the greatest I have heard in a video game period. This particular version of the game even includes multiplayer which is always a good time with a local friend. If this had online multiplayer support and a bit more courses to choose from this would absolutely be a perfect video game
gameplay loop isn't as snappy as the first one but it's similarly fun to pick up and screw around in. also the soundtrack has my shit oozing oh my god

You know what? This is the best Pac-Man game. It is the most exciting game about eating I've ever played (which is not something you can say about a game every day)
This extra campaign is better than CE2 main game
