"No no no that's not how it went"

As a kid, I adored it, but revisiting it revealed flaws. The camera and auto-lock during combat were frustrating, along with a certain infamous door level and a lackluster finale.

However, the narrative's humor and charm still shine through, and despite its jankiness, the combat remains oddly satisfying. It might not live up to childhood hype, but it still holds a special spot in my gaming memories.

Sound mixing at its lowest. Bad port. Bad controls. Idiotic comba. Can see the pst appeal though

Originally, I played this on Gamecube years ago and it was my first 3D entree of the PoP series. It felt like one of the best and made me look forward to what games would come next. Playing this again in HD kind of kept the same feeling, (aside from now noticing the glitches and graphic limits) the game still played and sound great. Great example of a platformer puzzle game with solid controls and atmosphere, the game has aged well from game point but not graphically. Easily a must play.

Imagine a alternative universe where ubisoft would have learned from this game and focused on the good parts of it (platform and puzzle) going forward....well, that's definitely a paralel universe.

a really shoddy port of a game that has aged surprisingly poorly - the combat really, really sucks
