Necesito jugar este juego en cooperativo.

Essentially an expansion of the first game.

This entire game is SO fucking good. It's criminal people have forgotten about it a bit.

More of the first really with this game, however, there are new locations that are available and I loved the idea of the zoo that you have to travel through. Filled with wild animals that have either escaped from their cage and hunting people or zombified ones that are harder to kill, like the boss in the area being a goddamn zombie elephant!

Some real creativity can come out of this and unfortunate I didn't get very far at all, but, I still quite enjoyed the changes by adding some more ammo and such, however, the main issue remains that attempting to play this game single-player is damn impossible. Especially with only four inventory slots!

Once again, I feel like this could really take off if released in the modern day as the idea of a co-op resident evil is a good one! Working together with friends to survive and escape Raccoon City before it gets turned into a huge radioactive crater!

One of my favorite "bad games", till this day I still get eager to play it. Great improvement of the first one, in scenarios, mechanics and weapons. Characters are more flashed out through unique skills and the ability to choose your partners. I hate horror games, but love this one. Like other Classic RE, if you pass over the tank controls, this game will be super fun. A must play if you dive into the franchise.

"extension" du premier opus, le jeu est sur certain aspect meilleur que son prédécesseur (meilleurs niveaux, histoire embellis, plus intuitif) mais largement inferieurs que son père sur d'autre (IA a chier, optimisation cataclysmique etc) il n'en reste pas moins super fun a jouer

Almost an expansion of the first game, we had an upgrade in gameplay, but some things got worse like the scenarios design and friends IA, still a good game to play if you like RE

Better levels than the first one and slightly better AI for the most part.

The inventory though, 4 spaces? Really? Dang, that's awful.

Capcom should be smart, and remake this series instead of creating garbage tier multiplayer games that nobody asked for.

people play tekken or mortal kombat to enjoy playing multiplayer games with friends, I play re outbreak files #2

The expansion with good tweaks to gameplay and characters. Tho people should stop playing on Very Hard all the time lmao

It's a must if you played the first part. It somewhat felt harder to play, but it's still fun with friends!

I am not sure if I enjoyed this one as much as the first game, the first scenario was awesome! But after that it's kinda eh for me, the last scenario was a travesty compared to the last one in the first game.

I just don't get it! Some scenarios feel like resident evil games, some feel like trial and error simulators that just want to test your patience. In a mainline game, the puzzles are often very obvious and straightforward, perhaps too simple, but in this, they can be a bit weird and excessive.

Fun, but just a lukewarm experience overall for me that didn't really evolve from the first game.

>> Contras
• JOGABILIDADE : As vezes consegue ser bem ruim.

Re4, Outbreak 1 and 2 were developed concurrently, when Capcom's passion for Resident Evil was at an all-time high, and it shows. I don't think any RE game has as much sheer content as the pair of Outbreak games.

Offline, the games are unexceptional but still fun for an RE fan. Online, they are the best multi-player RE experiences available. The biggest flaw was that they were too ahead of their time. If these were ps3 games even, people would still be playing online in large numbers. Put the games on Steam, Capcom!

My favorite level of Outbreak 2 is the Zoo, a totally unique concept that hasn't been done in anything before or since, except for two really bad Asylum movies.

This game goes surprisingly hard for a weird multiplayer survival horror experiment and probably was real impressive in 2003/2004, especially the crazy good intro cinematics for both this entry and the last. Maybe Capcom should remaster or make another one of these instead of their current wretched online, live servicey entries that don't feel as fun as this.

In some ways superior and inferior to the original Outbreak, Eiichiro Sasaki's Outbreak File #2 largely matches the bar set by the first game, though hardly exceeds it. Scenario design is once again incredibly strong for the most part. Wild Things, Desperate Times, and End of the Road are all very solid levels that feature interesting (and in the second's case, nostalgically familiar) setpieces. Flashback in particular is probably the best scenario that both games have to offer, featuring an incredibly strong atmosphere, impressive branching pathways, and one of the most interesting substories that the franchise has ever told. Likewise, Underbelly is probably one of the worst, due to its confusing level design, infinitely respawning enemies, and overly convoluted puzzles. Though frankly, getting four scenarios out of five right is perfectly fine and that's about as many as the original Outbreak succeeded in anyways. The base game design seems to be mostly unchanged, which is ultimately a good thing, and generally plays just as well as the original. Playing online is a breeze and the net code seems to be a little more consistent than the previous game, though still spotty at points. Unfortunately, if you choose to play solo, the partner AI has been heavily downgraded from the original. What used to have fairly competent bots that would actively solve puzzles and assist you have devolved into meandering lunatics who aimlessly run around and get into trouble. It is not an uncommon sight to walk into a room and find one of the bots dead. This isn't the biggest deal in the world as the game is primarily intended for online play, but considering the fairly small player base, inevitably a few sessions of Outbreak cravings will have to be satisfied on your own. In terms of both graphics and art direction File #2 is once again a treat. Environments are rendered with striking fidelity and realism for a 2004 console game. The game may struggle with outdoor environments somewhat but still manages to look reasonably appealing if not great during those sections. Baked shadows and moody lighting are used to great effectiveness, especially during Underbelly, and the game even does fake reflections in an interesting way that looks surprisingly good. The soundtrack is also fairly decent, setting a fitting atmosphere and consistent tone throughout the entire game. I don't think it's as memorable as previous RE soundtracks, with only the title track immediately springing to memory, but I can't think of a single song that struck me as bad both in-game and as an album. Outbreak File #2 is a great game that generally matches the quality of the first game, with many qualities but unfortunately some flaws as well. Still highly recommended for horror fans, as it's one of the most unique multiplayer experiences out there

Resident Evil Outbreak 1 and 2 were so ahead of it's time that it actually it's downfall. The games were so creative. A fully functional online co op horror game in the year of 2003. Simply crazy. I never got to play them online and even with just the single player portion with bots I loved the ever loving shit out of this game.

All the playable characters are the regular joe's of Raccoon City. Everyone one of the main cast had great design and thought put into them. They all had their own personality and quirks. Their own relationships. They had their own special abilities and starting weapons. No two characters played the same, so when playing as a team it was essential to use everybody to their maximum potential.

The games had cool what if scenarios like what if you were at a bar of the time of the outbreak, or trapped in the labs, a hospital, or even the zoo. Every stage had it's own story and means of escape. Raccoon City became so fleshed out at this point that you can follow a real map and see where all the locations of the city are. It's nuts. Every level dripping with atmosphere and dread.

Gameplay was a shoot shoot kill everything affair. This was a classic style RE. Recourses are very very limited. Not everybody gets a gun. Make use with what you have. You have a bad player wasted all the ammo? Too bad. I guess you gotta melee it out. Player die with the key items? Go find his body and pick him up. Team work is critical for survival, especially on the harder difficulties. Team mates can fuck up your run. And that's okay. The game is about being a good team player and working together. Even in single player bots won't screw you over like a real person could but it's essential to try and work with them. There are times where you need to split up and solve puzzles or look for clues. It's a classic RE through and through. It's amazing how well it worked.

In fact it's grand design doesn't get the recognition it deserves. The lack of voice chat and replacing with in game character speech was an inspired choice to say the least. They still cared about creating the atmosphere that they willingly skipped the option so you don't hear the typical nonsense you normally would with random players. Communication may suffer but the atmosphere is intact. Communication is all done by simple commands and situational prompts where your character will speak based on whats happening or what they have done.

A online game like this feels like prime DLC canadine. Hell File 2 is practically a season pass of dlc and updates. Not to mention the games have an incredible amount of unlockable and and side content. There's also like 30 plus unlockable side characters to play as, multiple costumes to find and collect and new modes like boss survival and showdowns. Every stage has multiple endings and paths dependent on character and choices. There are several difficulty options. The ability to play solo without team mates. There are hundreds of hours of content here if you wanna see everything. I can't really praise these games enough.

The only thing that hinders the experience a bit is the long loading times. Even me as much as I love the games admits in the year of 2021 it's hard to stomach it. The games were too stressful on the PS2 clearly. Loading times can be shorted a bit if you have a PS2 HDD but honestly not many did. Having an online adapter and a HDD in 2003 is a lot to ask for in 2003.
I would kill for a remaster but sadly I don't think it's possible with the way the game was created as it would be too much work to restore it. Which is sad because what we got here is a true diamond in the rough.

this game has boring scenarios but saved by good tweaks and characters have their own unique set of tools to use.
